Men are simple creatures

Who wouldn't want a man at their feet? Of course, we do. Men are simple creatures.
Here are some simple rules. Make him feel like the man. There is no need for long-planned discussions. For the most part, he may only hear about 50% of it. So, if you gonna plan, make sure he hears the important stuff. If you want something, then ask him never demand and important here is also the timing. Do not ask him when he is watching football. He will not hear anything.

Remember to tell him he is the best because he is. Tell him! Don’t ask anyone to do what you’re not willing to do.

You gotta cook for him...cook, bake...do it even if you do not like meat. Grill him that steak. He will thank you later and it all pays off. Leave all the nagging behind. Number one reason men leave women is that they nag over things a hundred times.

Be thankful, always for the things he gives and says. It is very simple. I think kindness right in the beginning will go along way. Treat with kindness if you want kindness back...same goes for love.
And then SMILE...always kiss and smile when you part. Never be angry, it gives you wrinkles...instead be his angel :)

And speaking of angels, please check out my new video called:

Randy's Donuts

If you are form Southern California you most definitely know Randy's Donuts. Even if you are not from here you will recognize this famous icon from many movies and commercials. Randy’s was built-in 1953 (and first appears in the 1954 edition phone book) as the second location of the now-defunct Big Donut Drive-In chain by Russell C. Wendell, a donut machine salesman. The building was featured in the films:
Earth Girls Are Easy, Mars Attacks!, The Golden Child, Into the Night, Coming to America, Stripped to Kill, Problem Child 2, Breathless, Californication, California Girls, 2012, Iron Man 2, Volcano, “Crocodile Dundee in L.A., and Love Letters. by Josh

I found the very same and famous place in Second Life. I was undercover you know, doing a story when then all of a sudden it hit me, I need a donut.

"One of the staples of LA that is located right next to LAX is Randy’s Donuts. Randy’s Donuts has long been featured in movies and become a go to place for anyone visiting the area, not to mention locals that have grown accustomed to their well crafted donuts. At one minute off the freeway it is a well trafficked location and for good reason, Randy’s Donuts are great." by Josh

Want to go and travel to the Randy's donuts here in Second Life? Here is a taxi to it: RANDY's DONUTS SL

What to wear in winter?

I believe the layered look is still in this year. It has been "in" for a long time. Not only does it look great it is also practical.

There is no need to go out and buy anything new either, you can save your Linden dollars for bigger and better things unless you are one of the girls who need to shop on a daily basis and can never be seen in the same outfit twice. This is what I am wearing and it is old stuff but hey still good right?

Maitreya Mesh Body - Lara V4.1
Top: GizzA - Christmas Jacket with Cardigan
Pants: The Secret Store - Bonnie Capri Pants - Black Polka
Boots: {Livalle} Hax - Combat Boots

Hair: D!va" Hair Ruri"

The boots are great for those slushy kinda snow surfaces.

The leggings are perfect for all the bending you do plus the other benefit is after all those Winter holidays your mesh might expand a little, no need to worry about it in the stretchable material of leggings.

I am thinking of what to buy for Christmas? Should it be for me or the ones that are dear to me? Oh yes, of course, I am not gonna be selfish. Ok, time to check into my room now. See you soon :) and have a good night! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Naughty or nice? Some Christmas traditions.

I was checking this list over twice and I did not see my name on it. I really do not understand at all. I was a good girl. Then again this is a very creep Santa, I think he was checking me out and Mrs. Claus would not be pleased.

I decided to read up about the man and found out many different customs around him.

In 1863 He was given the name Santa Claus and bore the red suit, pipe, and his reindeer and sleigh.
Now Christmas celebrations vary greatly between regions of the United States, because of the variety of nationalities which have settled in it.

I love the one where it said: In California, Santa Claus sweeps in on a surfboard. Really? I would swear I would know about this, but then again I do not live at the beach.

Is this Piernik? (Honey Cake)
In Poland, beautifully lit Christmas trees are placed in all public areas, outside churches and in homes. Traditionally the trees are decorated with shiny apples, gift walnuts, beautifully wrapped chocolate shapes and many homemade decorations and candles. On the top of the tree is a star or a glittering top piece. In many homes, sparklers are hung on the branches of the trees giving it a magical air. Sometimes the trees are left standing until February 2nd, the feast day of St Mary of the Candle of Lightning.

Can you imagine this in the USA? Here the Christmas decoration goes off with the Christmas wrappings you throw out on the next day. Seriously, we rush things way too fast.

In parts of Germany, people believe that the Christ Child sends a messenger on Christmas Eve. He appears as an angel in a white robe and crown, bearing gifts. The angel is called Christkind. There is also a Christmas Eve figure called Weihnachtsmann or Christmas Man, he looks like Santa Claus and also brings gifts.

I knew the idea was stolen from somewhere...you better be good now so you can be on the list.

Winter

Winter is the coldest season of the year in polar and temperate climates (winter does not occur in tropical climates). It occurs after autumn and before spring in each year. Winter is caused by the axis of the Earth in that hemisphere being oriented away from the Sun. Different cultures define different dates as the start of winter, and some use a definition based on weather.

I went to a few winter locations in second life to take some photographs for the upcoming the 3rd Annual Winter Showcase & Winter Art show will take place December 1 to 10, 2017! This event will include shopping, art, music, hunting, fundraising, & more!

Trains are kinda fun in the snow. Reminds me of the recent movie coming up called " Murder on the Orient Express". Read more about the event at the website here: Team Diabetes Second Life
Stay warm out there :)

It's all about the spinach! I yam what I yam and tha's all what I yam.

Greg and Anjelikka ( in case you are wondering)
Here we are ready to go out as Popeye and Olive. Here is a true fact about those two ( I mean the real ones not me and Greg) and no Bluto either.

"In the old 1930s Fleischer Studios Popeye theatrical shorts, Jack Mercer was the voice of Popeye and Margie Hines the voice of Olive Oyl. They lived out the romance of the characters they played by getting married in 1939. The couple had spinach for their wedding breakfast."

Now isn't that cute? They had a true romance going. "That's all I can stands, cuz I can't stands n'more!"

The Basement Club!!!

Sure there are thousands of clubs all over Second Life for every genre of music you can imagine. Some Clubs have been out there for a long time and some are new and some are well just there. All is fine and dandy and yes talking about dandy we have our own DJ Dandy here at the Basement Club.

He does a few other things besides DJing and we welcome that here at the Basement Club. You have a talent? Stop by and show us.

Just don't all come at once, this is a small club. What we have to offer, is fun and only the best people in second life will come here, who can tell the difference of quality than quantity.
Stop by anytime regardless on the weekend...DJ Dandy is here on Saturdays and he always plays eclectic sounds from all over and never disappoints. DJ Likka on Sunday nights will have a style that includes 80s new wave and also alternative/indie and different themes once a month which includes blues, jazz, and romance.
And yeah the great DJ Riker is coming back as well.

NORTH

"Inspired by the raw and serene Scandinavian and Scottish northern landscapes, nature, ocean, and decrepit old buildings come together to make up the outside part of North. The interior spaces are intentionally left more playful and cluttered in order to create a contrast."

Dress warmly when you come here because Winter has covered the land with snow.

It is a fun place to walk around in and meet some friends, even if they are the forest kind.

Enjoy this video about the sim North.

We create our fate every day we live.

Treat me like a queen and I'll treat you like my king. Sometimes you break your heart in the right way if you know what I mean.

I can't remember when it has been boring for us here in Second Life. Oh yes, we have been tired, very tired but that is because real life makes you run around without breaks. Coming here and relaxing with each other is a nice break.

As Second Life gets more realistic we enjoy it more and love to escape here and spend time together. This is not lost time, this is the time we use to create memories. I love reminiscing about places we have seen and people we talked to. I don't want to recover from this addiction at all.

Time to get Funky...

It was Disco and Funk time at the Basement Club and the music was nothing but spectacular. DJ Likka, Dandy and DrakiAzul performed a thrilling show with music and dance.
Go Dandy, go! Who knew that he was such an excellent dancer? People got an extra treat because he did the dance in his tiny skivvies. Come back next week for another episode. Every Sunday night 6-8 PM SLT here at the Basement Club!

Want to be a dancer, host or DJ? Come and see us and apply there. We love to have you :)
Draki makes the perfect bartender. He is also a good listener while you drink your spirits.

"A theory that you can't explain to a bartender is probably no damn good."
A quiet moment for us :)
