Special Dedication Sets and Shout-outs coming up....

Staying calm and positive with all the tragic things that are happening in the world as a result of the coronavirus might not be as easy as someone think. Sure the first few days of being off are great but after a while when you cannot follow your daily routine and you get constant reminders that this is NOT a dream but reality makes it frightful.

Savor the small moments: Even during a lockdown you still have many small moments to savor. The smell of coffee, the feel of the warm shower on your back and so on.

Strengthen your connections: for those of us in family lockdown, now is the opportunity to spend quality time with our loved ones. Take the time to hug your kids or partner, look them in the eyes, have long conversations with them.

Look for the good in others: These types of crises can bring out both the worst and the best in human nature. This week there were two Youtube clips that went viral in Australia about toilet paper. One was of three grown women fighting in Woolworths over a packet of toilet paper.

Use this time to get to know you and the friends and people you care about. This is like a test. Have fun!!! Create Art, listen to music, learn new things. Stay busy!!!

I will have some special sets starting tonight at 7PM PST (SLT) were you can dedicate songs to those who are still working, health care providers, store clerks and those who serve the public. Send me your dedications and requests...and listen to the stream and pass the stream on. We can do this and make the days happy even if it is just for an hour or so...
If you are in Second Life, stop by the Basement Club and bring your friends. We can have that social contact here in a safe place.

Follow the Health Department’s latest updates on the Coronavirus (Covid-19), including the WHO’s prevention methods. Travelers from Covid-19 affected areas are advised to stay at home for up to 14 days. If you develop any symptoms contact your doctor or clinic, they will advise your next steps.
