In the Fog

Hermann Hesse is one of my favorite poets and writers...he also was a great painter and artist. I truly believe the Retreat has many parts of his passion for creativity present.

Strange, to wander in the fog.
Each bush and stone stands alone,
No tree sees the next one,
Each is alone.
My world was full of friends
When my life was filled with light,
Now as the fog descends
None is still to be seen.
Truly there is no wise man
Who does not know the dark
Which quietly and inescapably
Separates him from everything else.
Strange, to wander in the fog,
To live is to be alone.
No man knows the next man,
Each is alone.

Maybe we all need to be NOT so in the fog and pay attention to what is around us...the daily beauty of life and the elements.

These wolves were amazing. They look so realistic, you will be in awe.
After all that work snapping pictures, it was time for me to relax in the warm Fall sun before Winter comes. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

Club Noir

Club Noir is a small jazz club. The perfect getaway from a busy sim. I really loved the cozy place. I hope everybody goes and checks it out.

I had a lovely time dancing and cooled off in the rain :)Thank you Alem Theas for the lovely dance.

I will most definitely go back to this place :)

This is the last week to find all the pumpkins at the retreat...

Frank's Jazz Club

Thank you to Steve for making the evening very pleasant at The Galleria at Franks.If you like Jazzy type of music you will like Frank's Jazz Club. Right next door you will find the Galleria, where you can shop for some fabulous clothes and also dance a little too.

Lamplighters and BURN 2

Burn 2 is an extension of the Burning Man festival and community into the world of Second Life. It is an officially sanctioned Burning Man regional event, and the only virtual world event out of more than 100 real world Regional groups, and the only Regional to burn the Man!

The cool thing is the Lamplighters and they have been an important part of Burning Man almost as long as Burning Man has been held in the desert. 
I had actually signed up to the group 3 years ago but after meeting Micheal never went back. I am so excited that I am there now and get to be part of the processions and the fire dances.
