I guess we should never take for granted the minutes and hours someone spends with us. So what does that mean "take for granted" ? Let us look at this a bit closer.

The dictionary says : 

take somebody for granted

"to not show that you are grateful to someone for helping you or that you are happy they are with you, often because they have helped you or been with you so often.

One of the problems with relationships is that after a while you begin to take each other for granted."

I am happy to say that we have never taken each other for granted. There isn't a day I wouldn't want to be with him. In fact, if there was an extra day I would spend it with him too.

Make every day special and always tell each other that the time you spend with them was wonderful, because it was.

You can moan all you want about married life and it not turning out to be some sort of giddy Disney fairytale, but research shows marriage is still a good deal. 

Statistically, you are still getting more sex than single people. If you are not, then get out now. About 40 percent of married people have sex twice a week compared to 20-25 percent of single people. If you are not, then get out now.

Of course, there is a flip side to all of this. Some marriages end up in a war and that can be stressful for sure. Yes, there are genuinely troubled relationships and very unhappy people out there. Don't be one of them. Be happy, marry the one you love and don't wait until the boat leaves.

Now, go give your wife to be a hug and tell her, you love her. Spend some time being as sweet as you were when you met. The results might surprise you. 

The world needs more PILLOW TALK !

Communication is important in a relationship, but finding the right time to communicate can leave both of you feeling drenched in love and bliss.

Pillow talk is just that...lying together with the one you love and you just talk...

There are many things you can be talking about like when you first met and what it felt like. The key is to talk about the happy moments in your life and especially this moment.

Not only will you feel great but your relationship will bloom and get stronger by doing this. This is very true to relationships in Second Life because the clock seems to be turning much faster. Take some time to talk. Just the two of you.

Our secret here is that we dream of a happy life ( we are happy in real life too), and visualize it together. If you have happy conversations while pillow talking, your relationship and your own lives will start to feel more upbeat and exciting.

As night falls and thousands of stars brighten the night sky strolling on the streets of Second Norway on our new bikes. The air was so fresh right next to the water.

All this riding around makes you very hungry and thirsty. The perfect place to stop and take a break is the Bella Bistro. You can just walk right in without any reservations and sit either inside or some romantic spots outside.

Get a bottle of wine and sit in the private section of the restaurant and just listen to the jazzy music. You will not regret coming here. It is absolutely beautiful.

We were so relaxed here, it made an immaculate evening even better.

Vincent van Gogh inspired---Oniro - Romantic Land of Dreams

I absolutely loved this place, because you feel you are in one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. Oniro is a romantic land of dreams for sure.

The vibrant colors are like the oxygen van Gogh breathed in and took his inspirations from.

His art had a sense of erotic explosions of a sexual vitality that he could rarely achieve in life. He had this romantic dream of people coming together, which you see represented in the colors twirling together.

For someone who was so lonely and depressed he painted some beautiful pictures which still to this day belong to some of the greatest art we know.

Go and explore this beautiful place and feel some romantic vibes of art, colors and perhaps love of life.

 

What is Paradise?

I suppose paradise could mean many things and each time it would look different. Some describe it more as a religious term, but I think it is simply the fairy-tale of unspoiled beauty that surrounds us all. We just have to look for it. It is there, right within us.
The idyllic beach at Crossing Currents is one of those places.

Of course when you are in such a luscious place it absolutely helps to be with someone who is very alluring and loving. I was so lucky to be there with my very best friend. He is so much more than that, he is paradise.

So if you sum it all up, then paradise means love. Whoever we do love, hold them close to your heart because when you are not feeling that heavenly paradise in the real world then think of these moments when you were in paradise.

Always smile when you go to sleep because it is a guarantee that you will wake up smiling in the morning. All great days start with a smile.

It was only "The Miss Behaven" afloat on the Blake Sea on this very calm night. The waves were almost still but you could hear them soothe you like soft jazz. Romantic and sexy all at the same time as the sun was going down in the west.

The only crew on board was us and we took a break from this windless night as we were sitting dead in the water with nowhere to go and no other vessels in sight. No land either, nothing!

What do you do when you are stranded in the middle of the sea? Of course, I got it....Do laundry. What else could you possibly do on the open sea?

I figure at least this way we have clean clothes when we arrive on shore again. I don't think Greg minded that at all. He was eager to get the clothes into the washing machine and he said: " Make sure you set the cycle for extra long." I guess he figured we would be here for awhile.

And that was perfectly fine with me. Besides we could make our own motion in the ocean if you are getting my drift. 

Ahoy Sailors!!!

The bath ritual of roses !!!

Water is the essential element for life and it also is also used in many rituals.

When I think of bathing it creates such a relaxing feeling in my mind. You have the scent of the bath oils a subtle aroma of roses.

Angels use rose scents as physical signs of their spiritual presence with people, since roses have powerful energy fields that vibrate at a high electrical frequency -- the highest of any flower on Earth!!!

Of course taking a shower together is also a good way to save water and since water is so sacred, why not do this tonight with someone you love.

Make it a ritual whenever you feel like it. It will bring smiles for sure and if all fails you will be clean.

Oh one last note: The Bath ritual may lead into some poetic motions you will not likely forget.

Casablanca's Rick’s Café Américain

So I wait in his office and he comes in looking at me with this serious look on his face. " Alright toots what can I do for you? " He asks with a grin on his face.
"Oh, Mister I am in need of some Lindens and they told me to come to you and kindly asked you for this favor." I reluctantly ask him.

"I don't give out loans to just about anybody. It would have to be very special to give anything out so freely in these days. But you look like a nice dame and we may need to discuss this further." 
" I would love to discuss this with you Mister. I can offer you something you may really appreciate. What do you think?" I excitingly challenge him.
"Oh really doll? I am all ears." He straightens himself up in the chair and looks right at me.
"Let me whisper this into your ear. I do not want anyone to hear me." Trying to convince him to listen to my plea.

"Go ahead doll, I am all yours. Tell me now, why I would do any type of business with you." he fidgety responds. Waiting for the answer as if he knew what it was to begin with,but let's me persuade him.

It wasn't a hard challenge at all, because I could feel he was into me right from the start. I wanted to set this deal into motion as soon as we could get out of this joint. He insisted we go over to Rick’s Café Américain and do a little dancing. "I want to feel you near-at-hand doll, if ya know what I mean. Feel your curves as your sweet rose scent impending my mind." he sheepishly reveals.

I feel his breath on my neck generating a pleasant shiver of euphoria and weakens my knees. He quickly holds on to me and says: " I got you toots, I got you. " Oh, yes you do, I am thinking. You got me alright. My heart pounding and I am suddenly taken over by him and there is nothing I can negotiate at all at this point. I am intoxicated by his embrace.

"How about we leave this joint?" He smiles and winks at me? " Yes of course, I would love to." I quickly reply.

And the rest I cannot reveal because a lady never tells her secrets not even you. I can mention one thing, the night was not over and a new adventure immersed with a spellbound intensity you can only imagine.

Taking the leap from “just friends”to actually being in a relationship !!!

Scary? Yes, because you have both been in relationships that failed; and you never know what might happen, or if the risk of losing him as a friend is even worth making him your boyfriend. But, for me it was, and always will be.

I have known Greg for a little more than 2 years now and we both have been on the roller coaster of ups and downs when it comes to relationships in second life.

To this point we have never been a couple, we have been "just friends". Not that we ever thought about more, but we have that utmost respect for each other that we never discussed this " more than friends" scenario.

Just forget the risk, take the fall, if it’s meant to be it’s worth it all.

A best friend loves you and will always love you. They tell you when you’re wrong/right/and look goofy. A best friend will fight with you and laugh with you and go through hell and back for you. When your best friend turns out to be your boyfriend, he does all that while worshiping the ground you walk on, adoring every move you make and getting excited about what the future holds not only for you, but for both of you as a couple. He will love you and teach you how to let him love you. He will crave your smile and your touch and praise you for all the little things. He will love you like no other.

I will hope that our true friends will support us in this new adventure and will feel the joy with us. For those who don't, we wish you well and send you hugs and kisses, because we know you need them.

Path of life through time !

My dearest Zeekeee,

Time has to be one of the most treasured gifts anyone can give another person. It is very valuable. I am so very grateful to you for spending time with me here in Second Life but yet the same time is spend in Real Life. 

Life is not a path of coincidence, happenstance, and luck, but rather an unexplained, meticulously chartered course for ONE to touch the lives of others and make a difference in their world.

It does not matter much what we do and create here in this world, but the time we spend together laughing and feeling the joy of life. Nothing seems to matter as those hours pass. We forget about our daily troubles that Real Life wants to create. As we have our time we love and connect in such a way that time stand still so it seems.

I cannot imagine time without you now. I just want to say Thank you and I love you :)

The Olsouth Wedding

I don't have all the pictures from the Olsouth Wedding on August 28, 2015. This ceremony was taken at the Retreat with reception and DJ.

Congratulations to our dear friends Stacey and Greg Olsouth!!! You did it...you are now forever bond together and we could not be happier. Thank you for letting us be part of this wonderful event in your life. What an honor to let us help you plan this great event.

I must say it turned out everything but perfect. DJ Loren was wonderful...kudos to him :) Officiant Mags was excellent.
Stacey and Greg picked out some great bridesmaids and groomsmen.
