If you have not gone and seen Them, you should head over there before it is gone. That UFO is leaving and beaming them all up.

And I did not count how many of Them there is. It looks like 100s of creatures are ready.
Most definitely worth a look if you have seen Cica's art before you will like this one.

A Night To Remember

It is absolutely stunning this exhibit by Emery Milneaux, who is quite the artist.

If you have the love to Titanic and its history you will without a doubt enjoy every second of this. Become one of the passengers or crew members and discover their fate at the end.

Meet Captain Smith as he tells you the compelling story.
Throughout the exhibit storytellers will bring you close to the experience of what it was like that fatal night.

Pose at the most famous staircase "The Grand Staircase".

"Harland & Wolff employed the most skilled carpenters in Ireland to turn the Grand Staircase into an intricate work of art – a task which they evidently completed successfully.  Decorated with oak panelling and gilded balustrades, the wide sweeping steps and landings of the Grand Staircase rose majestically through six decks, and were crowned by a magnificent glass dome."

So stop by soon and enjoy this as much as I did...there is a gift shop with the best items ever in it too...

Galicia Art & Cultural Hall " Native American Pop-Art" by Jack

It is always such a pleasure to see the great art by Jack (actionjackson86) and especially so when it is featured at the Galicia Art & Cultural Hall.

The colors of this exhibit are truly amazing, they are bright and vivid and Jack describes this art," in my opinion the bright colors make it pop-art...lots of color separation and manipulation...it does change the way you look at the image."

Vincent van Gogh inspired---Oniro - Romantic Land of Dreams

Love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is done well.

I absolutely loved this place, because you feel you are in one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. Oniro is a romantic land of dreams for sure.

The vibrant colors are like the oxygen van Gogh breathed in and took his inspirations from.

His art had a sense of erotic explosions of a sexual vitality that he could rarely achieve in life. He had this romantic dream of people coming together, which you see represented in the colors twirling together.

For someone who was so lonely and depressed he painted some beautiful pictures which still to this day belong to some of the greatest art we know.

Go and explore this beautiful place and feel some romantic vibes of art, colors and perhaps love of life.

See the Eiffel Tower in a different light. Eiffelicious is a really great place to take pictures at.
I loved the feeling of the size of the tower and the colors. Don't miss this. Holiday Happenings :)

The holidays tend to be very busy but they also can be tons of fun. We hope to make your holiday season enjoyable here in Second Life. We have a few things planned for the month of December so get ready and have some holiday cheer.

1. The Retreat will hold its annual "Little Gift Hunt" starting December 1, 2015. Come and stop by and find 10 little gifts while you enjoy the beautiful winter scene.

2. The Retreat Gacha Store & More has a new location at the very end of the Retreat in its own building. We hope to bring you some of the best gachas plus some Home Goods created by us. Take a chance on the Lucky Letter Board and also look for a few freebies. The Store is located on the Melatonin Lake overlooking the beautiful Retreat right next to the Full Monty Nightclub.

3. The Galicia Norge Yul is a breathtaking location right on the Blake Sea. Come and skate the frozen pond, cuddle with your loved one, roast some marshmallows over the warm fire or get cozy in the cabin. Look for some free gifts (starts Dec. 1) too.

4.The Galicia Art & Cultural Hall is excited to present "Photography by Jack" a very talented artist in Second Life. Jack (actionjackson83) created some nice pieces for this exhibit. He is also a talented actor and director in Second Life. We are very lucky to have him be our featured artist this month.

Autumn has arrived at the Retreat and the trees have turned red, yellow and orange. The pumpkins are placed and the hunt is all set up.

Here is what is coming soon:

1. Galicia Art & Cultural Hall will host the talented Kylie Quinn with her exhibit called "Color your World". This is a must see, because the vibrant colors will inspire your senses.
We are also looking for artists to have their  art displayed free of charge, please contact us :)

2. Galicia's Spine-Chilling Halloween Hunt and Extravaganza will start October 20th at a location to be announced. It will be nothing but spooktacular. Come and dress in your favorite costume and then look for the pumpkins throughout the sim to get your treats. Watch out for the eerie surprises along the way. This event is free and open to all. Stay tuned for the BIG announcement.

3. The Full Monty, a brand-new Club run by Mags and her Crew will open soon at the back lot of the Retreat. Stop by and see it coming along. It is looking really nice. 
Mags will have some of the top DJs in SL who will play the tunes you love.

The Grand Opening

Galicia Art & Cultural Hall is now officially open to everybody to enjoy. It will feature new artists every month and will host some future events. If you are or know an artist who would love to display their work; please contact : Anjelikka Galicia(anjelikka) inworld for more details.

There are a couple of free gifts in the gallery for those who love hunting. Don't forget the fine artwork in the bathroom.

The opening was a great success with friends and visitors and I truly thank them all who came and supported us. 

All pictures in the Life & Love exhibit will be available at the upcoming "Expose Yourself to Art Hunt" held at the Retreat for 1$L each. You just have to find them. More information on this coming soon. :)

We encourage the Second Life community to expose themselves to art. Come see and feel the emotions that art can bring. SL has so many artists and such variety. 

Galicia Art & Cultural Hall is open to everybody to enjoy. We hope to attract artists to show some of their work here. Perhaps you just started and have a few pieces only, then this may be the place.

Ocho Tango Place

New and improved the Ocho Tango Place the first place in Second Life to offer Tango and Romance. 

The Sim is now split in half and shares Digital Art -Cammino e Vivo Capovolto. It is worth a look and hang out here, even if you do not know how to Tango.

Art Box

Art Box is such a fun place to go and a must see. They have so many displays for you to try out and take pictures with. It will put you right into famous artwork. I only captured a few of them here.
