There are so many creators in Second Life selling their products and I feel when it comes to buying a product a creator needs to be behind their stuff.
In this case it wasn't even for a refund or anything, this was a person who played the gacha machine from Ionic who's creator is Lakua Arriaga. I mean I love gachas and yes I played to get the rare item and most of the times you get lucky eventually and get that rare, but this is down right ridiculous so I decided to share this story so other will know about it. She truly sucked and nope I won't buy any products from her anymore. What do you think?

Second Life is a place we visit (2015) by Huckleberry Hax
This is a fascinating book for all people who have been in Second Life, live in Second Life or just want to understand what this is all about.
You get quickly drawn into this book just as it is with Second Life itself. Those who have been there and those who still are there know what I am talking about.
I think one of my favorite line in the book is when Huck writes: "...SL is all about relationships..." And I believe Huck is right. The relationships we build here in this virtual world are just as meaningful as the ones we have in the real world. I have seen residents who have been friends for many years and perhaps they have spend more time in the virtual world with their virtual friends than in the real world. How can you call that relationship virtual, well it isn't, really. It is as real as the emotions that go into it.
I hope you go read the book and the other works by Huck.
Enjoy :)

Second Norway
Second Norway is a lovely place. You will find so much to do here besides boating. There is a railroad, shops, beautiful homes. The people are friendly here and always willing to help. Why not take a trip out here...at the end of Blake Sea in the far east.
You will find no Drama here which is a beautiful thing in SL.

VIDEO: Creation of minds
I am not sure why we call it second life here in this beautiful world of creation.
Every life here every avatar is connected to our real
lives in many ways.
It is a learning process of discovering the beauty of our
minds creating visions of happiness and sometimes even sadness, yet we are
drawn here together like a magnet that has a hold on us.
We can connect our visions with others or spend it in
solitude, but I sense we all seek that connection to some great mind that spins
on the same frequency as ours. Adventures here are endless and they do not
limit us, because here we are free in a sense for as long as we need to be.
I have seen many things our minds have created and here we
admire this work and we never judge the physical human behind it all. Real Life
should be like this! Where race, religion, gender, age or disabilities don’t
matter, but love for creating joy does.

Europa Point
Today I went sailing once more and decided yo head North starting at the Crows Nest and I eventually ended up in the Dire Strait.
Europa Point has some interesting and haunting features. It is very quiet here.
A lonely fisherman doing some night fishing here. Not sure if he caught anything. I was only watching him from a distance, because I did not want to disturb his fishing.
Something must have been up, because I saw two police officers with a canine watching carefully over the sea.
In fact two UFOs appeared on the sky and I believe they were checking on me.
I will complete the rest of my journey tomorrow.

From Hollywood Airport to the SS Galaxy
The fun thing in SL Sailing is that you can go pretty far. Today I tried to sail from the Hollywood Airport
(Hollywood Airport (SLHA) is a popular public airport in Second Life. Located strategically on the edge of the Blake Sea, the airport buzzes with activity. It is a wonderful place to just hang out and watch the planes come and go. More than ten commercial airlines operate flights out of SLHA. Scores of flights (sometimes more than 100) using all manner of aircraft take place to and from SLHA on a daily basis. Come fly to the airport and walk next door or take the monorail to enjoy the excitement of Hollywood sim)
to the super large Ship called SS Galaxy
(This enormous, full-featured cruise ship spans three sims and offers an array of activities, including shopping, dancing, and music. Just like a real life cruise, you can also rent the staterooms and suites.)

A sailboat named "Anjelikka"
There is an old tradition to name a ship after a woman. What an honor to have a sailboat named after me.
"Life's roughest storms prove the strength of our anchors."
Our voyage has just begun, yet in one month I have done more than I have in three years. You learn so much when you are out in the open waters. I hope we get to share this sweet ride with some of our friends.
If you like to come with us for a ride, just IM us inworld....we love to show you the open sea.

Happy New Year !!!
Sometimes Real Life and Second Life collide and for the past
2 ½ years I was pretty content with both. Two months ago it all changed,
without warning. Poof it was gone the laughter and friendship and I cannot make
any sense of it at all. It is a true heartache you feel.
So for those of you, who are still dealing with heartache,
don’t let it get the best of you. When you least expect it life in both worlds
can change.
Happy New Year!!!

I wonder as I wander SL
Sometimes I wonder who sits behind that avatar. Are they like me? What kind of life do they live and why are they here in Second Life?
I try to give everybody the respect they deserve, because after all there is a real person behind all of it. Not all are creeps, at least I don't think so. It would be sad to think that the entire platform just harbors weirdos. I have seen the creative art and was amazed from the first day I logged on and how beautiful it is. I have seen and felt how you can all of a sudden spend hours here in Second Life and forget what time it is. Time stands still in a way.
I have felt the love and admiration of a person who seemed so perfect in many ways and then after an eternity just ends it all. The pain is real, but I promise you get over it. Just like in real life your heart mends and moves on.
If you want to survive Second Life you have to absolutely make it fun and enjoyable. For example, I was doing a little photo shoot and this guy named Mr. Fox just sat right in the middle of the scene. Rather than getting pissed off at him, I just incorporated him into my picture.
Not sure why he sat around and watched...lol.
Mr. Fox even had a wife and she at one point popped on with her BIG tummy and then disappeared again. Too funny, because I did not want to be caught in any drama here.
Who are these people...the ones who dress up as a child or animal?
One great feature in Second Life is that you can block people and delete them from your list of friends. I had to do this quite often when people get a bit weird and want to talk about stuff I am really not into. Like last night some guy wanted that I call him Sir, because he felt he enjoys this very much. That is fine, but I call people Sir only if they have that title or perhaps are in the military. POOF and you can teleport yourself away.

Happy 3rd RezzDay to me :)
I cannot believe how fast the time passes in this second life. Three years now and there is still so much to learn.
I absolutely adore the retreat. I hope you come and check it out. I will be working hard to get the Pumpkin Hunt ready with some cool prizes, some are my own creations.

Little Red Riding Hood in the woods
Enchanted is an event that is designed to happen every three months and focuses on one chosen fairy tales. This is an exclusive event where dreams and nightmares coexist, barely. This edition of Enchanted tackles Little Red Riding Hood from February the 1st until the end of the month. Welcome, but beware of the wolves.
We hope you come and check it out, it does have some nice items you can purchase. As mentioned above it is all about the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood", so Micheal and I could not resist and we dressed ourselves to fit the scene :)
Funny thing was, she thought that Little Red was a schoolgirl and should go home and do her homework so she does not get detention. Maybe the blonde did not know the story about little red riding hood, I mean you heard what they say about blondes...in this case even in an avatar disguise it may just be true.

End of the Holidays!!!
Since the Holidays are over, I was thinking on redoing the backyard of our Monty Retreat...new trees and poses. A lovely garden. I better get to work on this.
Micheal and I decided to go and explore a little tonight. We found the sim Frosty Night 2013 and collect some free gifts there.
It is also a nice place to dance :)
Watch out....I am falling on you :) This sim is a fun place to just lounge around in the umbrella or fly over...it is very pretty here and peaceful.
