You never know what happens at the Basement Club, but what you will get is great music and a bunch of cool people who will make you laugh.😁

Many of the DJs here play INDIE and Alternative music, but you will also hear some rock and electronic techno depending on the night of the week.

DJ PoetApprox will get as wild as you like

There are daily sets here starting at 6PM SLT, but you are welcome to come and visit anytime and enjoy the club and dance or just sit and chat with friends. We are open 24/7.

Above the Basement Club, you will find the gallery and the Retreat which are open to all residents in Second Life. Feel free to wander around and enjoy the facilities.

DJ Grum attracts all the ladies with his smooth and calming voice and his music choice is out of this world...maybe part of his alien nature.

 

Halloween at the Retreat !!!

Halloween has arrived at the Retreat and the rain is pouring down. 
The little pumpkin hunt is also ready for you to go and explore. Find 10 hidden pumpkins in the rain throughout the Retreat.

Beware of creatures that might suddenly appear. You never know where they are hiding. Turn your sound up and have the recommended wind light setting, so you can enjoy all the features.

There is a spaceship near the Galicia Art & Cultural Hall to guide you into the gallery for some spectacular Halloween art by Jack. It is a true masterpiece and a must see.

A little Pumpkin Hunt October 1-31, 2016 @the Retreat

The "a little pumpkin hunt" will start October 1, 2016, @ the Retreat. 
Find 10 pumpkins for 1L each with some fabulous prizes inside.

While here enjoy the Retreat, the garden, chapel and also the Basement Club.
Pumpkins will be ready October 1, 2016.

The Hunt is now open....so enjoy. The Retreat is also part of the Top SL Haunted sims with an additional gift to find.
I am also changing the 1L to 0L as of Oct 2 8am SLT...so more reasons to come and enjoy this.

HINT: all pumpkins are hidden outside and not in any building. Follow the path, but beware of ghosts and creatures.

At the Retreat

The day after the party we danced in the garden at the Retreat. I really invite you all who read this to come and stop by and see the garden. This is all open for the public to enjoy.

And then you can also see the Chapel at the Retreat. Remember if you are looking for a small chapel to get married in, this is your place. It costs you nothing if you do it all yourself and bring the officiant with you. Everything you need is there. Just leave a donation that you think is fair.

I do however offer officiant services, as well as reception and DJ if you need that for a small fee we can negotiate.

I can also offer photography and video services for a fraction of the cost it would be for the regular services you have to pay in second life. Don't believe me, look around. It costs a lot. Well, here is does not.

The Chapel at the Retreat

The chapel at the Retreat is being restored to a better version and will be ready by the end of the month for weddings and pictures or just quiet moments.

There is no charge for using the chapel. If you would like to have a wedding and need an officiant, a photographer or a DJ for your reception just let me know. We can work on a comfortable price to get you the wedding of your dreams. 

The Retreat has its own dance club, a garden, a honeymoon suite...it is all here for relaxing and most of all picture taking.
Stop by soon at one of the events at either the club or the Retreat. The Club has a DJ on Saturdays from 6-8PM SLT.

Sensational New Beginnings for the Basement Club!!!

It was just confirmed to me that the ONE and ONLY DJ Heath will be LIVE at the Basement Club every Saturday from 6-8PM SLT.

Yes, this is the same time he previously had booked at the Full Monty and for all those Monties out there, do not despair...Heath is coming here to the Basement Club because is followers are so many Mags decided it was best to give up her Club The Full Monty and bring the DJs, hostesses and of course the faithful patrons over to the Basement Club. 

We know this will be super great for all of us, because nobody can be now turned away due to a full club. 

Of course Heath will be playing his SL famous "What's in the Box?" game for some fabulous L$ prizes. Let's show DJ HEATH how many of you do love him and break down the house.

Staring this Saturday April 2, 2016 6PM SLT

(a little side note: The Basement Club is actually on the old site of the Original Full Monty Club...if you still have that landmark you can use it and look for the shed and teleport down to the Basement...see you there!)

The Basement Nightclub!

Underneath the Forest Revere lies a secret basement. You have to go through the forest first and find its entry. Be careful were you step, because you never know what is lurking in the forest.
Once you see the the piggy "Zeek" you will find the entry.

The Grand Opening will be March 4th, 2016 with DJ Mauxx playing Salsa Music from 8-10PM SLT.

The Basement Nightclub

Come for a preview of music, dance and fun this Wednesday from 6-8PM SLT with DJ Amrar Ruby.

We hope this will give you a new and unique experience and you will make this your regular hangout. 

At the Retreat

Here we are at the Retreat planning the final details of the newest development of our Art & Cultural Hall, the Wedding Chapel, The Retreat Store as well as the Basement Club.

I swear we did discuss the details, lol.

Anyway, the Galicia Weddings Chapel has been put on hold for now. If you are planning getting married and want our help, just IM us inworld.

The Galicia Art & Cultural Hall will be placed at the Retreat, so look for the link coming soon.
If you have photographs you want to have displayed just contact me, so we can discuss the process.

The next exhibit starts March 7th, 2016

Explore Route 12 !!!

Route 12 is found in the continent of Nautilus and the Retreat is right off this route. I decided to take my lovely pink car and explore and it was worth the trip.

First stop at the gas station in Rennveig. Watch out for the hidden cop car there. They will stop you if you are going over the speed limit.

Hey...move out of the way. First it was the bus and now this truck. Be careful on this road.

Along the way I also found a cool gacha store, you can't pass that up. I am giving the items I found as a gift to my brother-in-law Vinny for his new pad.

Found this cute chapel not too far from the Retreat. We are getting close now.

And there it is...the Retreat behind the big wall. Come and visit today and find Fall has arrived as well as some spirits.

Yeah, I made it back before it got too dark.

Welcome to Fall :)

Autumn has arrived at the Retreat and the trees have turned red, yellow and orange. The pumpkins are placed and the hunt is all set up.

Stop by soon and enjoy the colors of Fall.

Here is what is coming soon:

1. Galicia Art & Cultural Hall will host the talented Kylie Quinn with her exhibit called "Color your World". This is a must see, because the vibrant colors will inspire your senses.
We are also looking for artists to have their  art displayed free of charge, please contact us :)

2. Galicia's Spine-Chilling Halloween Hunt and Extravaganza will start October 20th at a location to be announced. It will be nothing but spooktacular. Come and dress in your favorite costume and then look for the pumpkins throughout the sim to get your treats. Watch out for the eerie surprises along the way. This event is free and open to all. Stay tuned for the BIG announcement.

3. The Full Monty, a brand-new Club run by Mags and her Crew will open soon at the back lot of the Retreat. Stop by and see it coming along. It is looking really nice. 
Mags will have some of the top DJs in SL who will play the tunes you love.

This time we are holding the EXPOSE YOURSELF TO ART hunt.
All you have to do is find 10 picture frames hidden in the garden.

The day has arrived and it is our wedding day. I will break this into 5 separate posts because of all the pictures.

I was so blessed to have several people take pictures at the wedding. 

Ok, so here I am July 10, 2015 at 4:31 PM sitting in our bedroom as I wait to get ready and put on my bridal gown. I have an hour and a half and I am getting a little nervous just about now.

I am so very thankful for Zeekeee because he is such a great guy. I am lucky we found each other.

I hope he likes my dress. It took a long time to find the right one and the bouquet. The jewelry were a gift from Zeekeee.

Chocolate Mint Room

The wonderful chocolate mint room in the Chateau at the Retreat will be open until July 31, 2015. After that the room will change into a new style.

So this is your last chance to come and see it and take pictures.

Now last minute wedding preps to do...

Wedding Preparations and some relaxation :)

Wow, there is a lot to prepare when you want the proper wedding. We discussed the ceremony and preparing the step by step guide for all those are participating.

There will be a Rehearsal on July 7th, 2015 at 7:30PM SLT at 
the Retreat.

In the meantime, we decided to take a little break and go swimming at the Maison de L'amour. The water is always warm and the waves are calm. So stop by, take a swim.
