Eiffelicious by Regi Yifu

See the Eiffel Tower in a different light. Eiffelicious is a really great place to take pictures at.
I loved the feeling of the size of the tower and the colors. Don't miss this. Eiffelicious is brought to you by The Linden Endowment Fund for the arts (The Linden Endowment of the Arts is an official Linden Community Partnership program whose purpose is to help new artists, cultivate art in SL, and foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the art community.)

Expose yourself to Art!

Expose yourself to Art

We encourage the Second Life community to expose themselves to art. Come see and feel the emotions that art can bring. SL has so many artists and such variety.

Galicia Art & Cultural Hall is open to everybody to enjoy. We hope to attract artists to show some of their work here. Perhaps you just started and have a few pieces only, then this may be the place.

Our Grand Opening will be held on August 20th, 2015 at 7PM SLT....see you there :)

Obedience

Very impressive to see this...so go and check it out today.

Obedience

"Second Life's Bryn Oh, Jo Ellsmore and Rose Borchovski team with acclaimed film director Peter Greenaway for the special exhibition "Obedience," held in both Second Life and the Jewish Museum Berlin. Interact with the museum attendees at the physical installation in this exhibit, held through September 13"

The story of forefather Abraham, who is willing to obey God’s command and sacrifice his son, is one of the most puzzling passages of the Bible. In the three monotheistic religions, it is among the most significant and most popular stories and among the first that were ever depicted. The text that is handed down in Judaism as the “Binding of Isaac” to this day still raises questions that are answered differently by the three religions.
British film director Peter Greenaway and multimedia artist Saskia Boddeke understand the sacrifice of Isaac as a human drama. Which is stronger – God’s command or the love of a father? And where can the modern subject be found between the priorities of obedience and trust?
Taking these questions as their starting point, Boddeke and Greenaway have developed a coherent artistic scenario that approaches the biblical narrative subjectively, deconstructs it, and refocuses the constituent parts to create an emotionally tangible scenario.

The Melatonin House

The Melatonin House has gone through many changes. We used to use it as an extra house as a rental. Then it was a hideaway from the big house.

It also was used as a Kiddie Camp for a short period. Then was empty and just stood there.

Currently the Melatonin House is being renovated into the official Cat House.
The cats are still in the main house during this renovation.
We will feature all our cats for sale on the upper level in the Melatonin House. Remember our Kitty Cats are from $L50 and up.

You should go and visit the garden too.

Moving Islands

"Moving Islands, Rafts is a collective project initiated by Eupalinos Ugajin. Come see the Cosmogony of Rafts and other improbably floating beings in this intricate and dynamic exhibit."

One of those places to visit when you are bored and want to try out some new exhibit. I enjoyed the calm music selection that was just perfect for floating around on various rafts.

Rusted Development

If you went to see the sim Rust you may also like this place called Rusted Development. It certainly is a strange place to see.
Make sure you go under the see and explore there too....

Watch out for the naked pink miniature men....lol

Overall, this is a very cool exhibit and worthwhile checking out.
