The Melatonin House

The Melatonin House has gone through many changes. We used to use it as an extra house as a rental. Then it was a hideaway from the big house.

It also was used as a Kiddie Camp for a short period. Then was empty and just stood there. 

Currently the Melatonin House is being renovated into the official Cat House.

The cats are still in the main house during this renovation.

We will feature all our cats for sale on the upper level in the Melatonin House. Remember our Kitty Cats are from $L50 and up.

You should go and visit the garden too.

Easter Egg Hunt....happening now :)

Just a quick reminder that our 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt is happening at the moment.....just go visit the Retreat and go to the back garden...you will look for 10 eggs...they have some nice goodies in them :)

We bought some new furniture for the cat room, so stop by and try them out...I love decorating.

Today we send Charlotte to the Menagerie...Charlotte was 124 :(
Not sure why I feel sad but I do...so maybe we won't send anymore away and keep them in the cattery instead. Who would have thought that this beautiful virtual cat can grow on you, sigh.

A little bit of Rock n Roll

Tonight we had triple luck.
First I won omg $L74 from the sploder at CYDs which will go for the cat food we need. Then Micheal won first place at CYDs, woohoo. We are rich...well for a few moments anyway.

At home that evening we watched little Candie being born and I showed off my guitar skills. How super cool is that in Second Life you can play any instrument you desire.

Candie will be our last one for now and she will partner with Melatonin, we are hoping to get some good kitties out of that for our store in the club.

When our first kitten was born it was such a magical moment. We knew she was funny, quick and oh sooo small. When she got picked up by her new owner the house was a bit empty at first, but we knew she had a good home. I think she is spoiled...thank you Rose and Thorn for taking her and spoiling her like we would.

Lil' Mel is now ready to sit in the Club he was named after...Well the first night he spend up in the club and I went to go see him, he disappeared. I think he had fallen through the cracks somewhere and fell down to the Melatonin House in the garden. Good thing cats fall on all fours.

Of course how can you get mad at him for being a nosy kitty who wanders around? Not with a face like his. He is so adorable all pink.

Camden and Charlotte did it again and this time little Melatonin was born. He will be the Mascot for the Club once he is fully grown.

The cutest thing was that Camden, the concerned and excited Daddy was waiting the entire time for his son to be born. Yes, "Mel" may be pink but he is all boy :)

Eventful Night

Today was kinda busy for us, because normally we just hang around our retreat and watch the kittens play or listen to some music and even watch the latest videos.
First we went to a live concert to see AM FORTE, a performer in SL. I think it was my first time to see her so I cannot really give an opinion about it, but I know Micheal enjoyed it.

We also had a very cute visit from little Remi, who now is the "Mommy" of Cathie our teacup kitten. We are so happy that she has a good home and is being spoiled already. Our other kitten now belongs to Remi's sister, which is so very cool, because we know that both cats will stay together and have the best home.

I think Charlotte also was pleased that her babies will be in good hands. Charlotte is expecting again right now, we think this will be the last kitten for us. LOL, Micheal is hoping for a cat that is purple and brown. I guess we just have to see.

Passion and Obsession

So, the other day I went to the KittyCats main store because the cats needed some more food, and yes it can get a bit obsessive having cats in SL. I don't think my obsession has bitten me as bad as this resident I saw at the store.

That was a bit extreme. Four kittens holding on to dear life.

Now to the passion part of this...I waited for Micheal at this beautiful small private island. This is a magical place and part of the Calas Galadhon

What do you mean....

...people have a problem with the rules of the Photo-Contest. I mean let's get real, if someone wants to use a better camera and edit their photograph that should be OK. For some reason some people just need drama.

...we have another kitten. It is still in the box and I will wait when Micheal is there.

...little Cathie suppose to have been picked up by now, but so far she hasn't. She is a teacup kitten, so very small and if anybody out there wants her for only 25L$, they can just message me inworld.

What Next?

We were shortly discussing about an event for next week, nothing like The Cowboy Stripper or the Cupid who danced and did the Full Monty....just a bunch of dancers, music, laughter and fun.

I will have to ask the robot to return soon to the club, after all Club Melatonin welcomes just about anybody and good thing the floor is double strength so it can support the robot and his friends.

Meanwhile with the kittens:

Our last photograph with "Cathie" and her parents, she will leave tomorrow to her new home. I already miss her.

OMG...we are grandparents, LOL !

So, we come home and Micheal says "let's check on the babies". We run upstairs to the bedroom and what do we see...Camden and Charlotte chasing back and forth in the room and then I see it; a small box.

"What is this?" "Where did this box come from?" OMG, then I finally get it. I remember a day when I came in the bedroom and Camden and Charlotte where on the bed together. They just looked sweet and innocent and I didn't think anything of it.

Yes, it is official. In that little box was a newborn kitten and the parents are Camden and Charlotte. We were about to witness this birth.

Meet "Cathie"....our kind of grand kitten  We already found a good home for Cathie, because at the moment there is no way we can take care of three cats. Cathie has lots of features of her Dad. Cute :)

When we are away the cats play

So...I am coming home to check on the babies and found them playing together. Of course funny guy Camden just stood up and was meowing : "Oh, I didn't do it" I really begin to think his personality is like Micheal; after all he calls him his little guy.

Camden has really grown fast. He was just a little mouse a week ago and here he is now as big as Charlotte.

I bought him a new collar but for some reason it just disappeared. Darn.

Lost and Found

OMG....yesterday...Charlotte was suddenly gone and I could not find her anywhere. So, my hero Micheal tried so hard to find her...he flew over the entire area and searched and then he even contacted the group of KittyCats...
I was able to put in a ticket for a claim and woohoo today I have Charlotte back...thanks to Micheal and KittyCats. If you are thinking of adopting a kitten then this is the place to go...loved the fast customer service.

Charlotte's first outing.

Today Charlotte got to go out with me and look for some hunt items. She was so good and did not complain at all.

All this "hunting" makes you very tired. Charlotte has some good eyes and found a few of the goodies. So glad I took her with me. Next time I will take her to the pet store and she can pick out some goodies.

It's a girl !!!

Today we announce to friends and In world wide that we have a little baby girl, in this case Charlotte the kitten. She has already grown in three days and wow she can eat.

Charlotte is also starting to talk and she told me: Take me shopping with you. LOL! Just like a girl would.
I will hopefully take her soon out to the store and we will see what we can find. I also talked to Micheal about getting Charlotte a bother soon so they both can grow up together. We still have to discuss this a bit more, but I think he will say yes :)

We have a Kitten :)

On February 16, 2013 our 11 months anniversary we adopted a kitten. Her name is Charlotte and she is a purple birthday kitten from KittyCatS...you can get one free too...

She is so tiny, I lost her the first day...but luckily she reappeared today again. I am so glad.
