DISCO FEVER @ the Basement Club!!!

It was actually a Sunday night and the fever just began. Disco music was in the house, well the Basement.

We were dressed in our platform boots and funkadelic clothes. Time to boogie down.

The Basement Club ~ downstairs

At the Retreat there are two levels of the Basement Club, one os under the stars which gives room to DJ Heath who entertains you every Saturday 6-8 PM SLT.
The other section of the Club is the original downstairs section. At this level, the themes always change and so does the music accordingly. So far, Likka entertained you with New wave 80s style, Romance, Black & White, and Salsa/Latin Influence.

The Basement Club is a small intimate club with friendly people who are like family. This is a fast growing club, so please do come and check it out. It is surrounded by the beautiful retreat and the Galicia Art & Cultural Hall.

The next upcoming party will be held on September 11, 2016, at 6PM SLT. Come and listen to some original music from the 60s and 70s when peace and love was the motto.

The Full Monty---Grand Opening

The Full Monty opened its doors for the first time October 2, 2015 6PM-8PM SLT with DJ Loren playing some fantastic tunes. What a huge success this was and everybody had such fun.

Join the club every Friday and Saturday.

Cuddling, dinner and dancing

As we get closer to the date of our special day, we took some time out to have some fun.
Some much needed cuddling and kissing at our new private home was very relaxing.

Then it was time for dinner before we decided on where to go dancing.

I really love the way our new home has turned out and the decor is very sleek, stylish and modern. I will take some pictures of the entire place and post it in the blog at another day.

The Willows: The club that feels like home

My first run in with the Willows was April 10 and it was monster bash at the graveyard theme. Here is was middle of April and you get to take out those Halloween costumes you have not worn in awhile from your inventory. So if you LOVE to dress up in a variety of costumes and show them off, this is your place.

All events are 7-11PM SLT every day.

The theme changes every day, so the club will look different every time you go.

The people here are friendly and I mean it. People chat in open chat and everybody says hello to each other. The owners of this fine establishment are nothing but wonderful. 

Want to hear great music? You got it here at the Willows with the best DJs in SL. They play a variety of music depending on what the theme is. They are funny, witty and you will just love them.

There are also contest for best costume on various days. So what is holding you back? Come on down and make new friends at the Willows. You will love it.

The Willows

No, it is not Halloween; but groovin' at the graveyard at the Willows. What a nice bunch of people you will find here at the Willows. The theme at the Club changes every night, so if you like to wear all the costumes you collected throughout the years in SL, this is a great place to wear them. 
They also have a contest board, so you could even walk away with some Linden cash.

Oceana Romantic Ballroom

Oceana Romantic Ballroom is such a friendly place. I was greeted immediately by DJ Roche and the lovely hostess Ocienne. I also enjoyed the music and the other guests. I was very impressed by the staff and how they made everybody feel welcome. DJ Roche even played his music for half an hour over his scheduled time. He dedicated songs to the lovely couples here too. 
I will go back to this place and highly recommend it.

Retrouvaille

People who are meant to be together find their way back, they may take a few detours, but they're never lost.

A great night at Club Melatonin Grand Opening. Hope you come and dance the night away soon at the club.

After trying out so many designs for the new club, I think I found the right one for us. Club Melatonin is now located where once the Melatonin House stood. So come on over and dance the night away. Cloud Nine

I can't believe it that I stumbled upon Cloud Nine Ballroom. This was the place where Micheal and myself first met. It was the place where most people met in SL, and here it is: Back from the dead.

There were many thing to be liked about the Ballroom, for example it had a very unique jukebox for you to select the songs you wanted to hear. So glad that part is back.

It was time for some Hula Dancing in Oahu  with Micheal and Soon on the drums.

There is so much more to see here and do. If you like surfing, they have the best waves on the grid. Explore the islands of Hawaii and feel like you are on vacation. Maybe you can even learn how to Hula...it wasn't that hard.

Hello....we went dancing at the Black Horse Country until it was midnight for Micheal....yeah Happy New Year...

A night out dancing :)

Tonight it was a lovely sweet and warm night and we decided to get all dressed up and go dancing. If you have never been to OZ Nightclub you should really consider it. The place is very lovely in its old decco style of the 40's. There is also live entertainment.

Cute...we are having a lovely conversation about how we went house hunting a year ago and finally set foot on the house on the hill at Monty. How fast time flies when you are having fun.
