With you....I feel safe!

Well we were just siting there at our home near the Second Norway Lufthavn thinking of some adventures we should take on.
Then it hit us, why not fly from the airport to another? Sounds fun, right?
Kenair has the Embraer Phenom 300, a light twin-engine jet aircraft and I remember Zeekeee sending me this aircraft some time ago when I was taking flying lessons.
We were even thinking to rent a hangar at the airport but it was taken away by some hangar hunter.

You would think I could fly this plane, but it took us some time to figure out the control panel. Needless to say we took off I wanted to land at the Hollywood airport, but was unsuccessful, LOL.
So, heading back to where we started from and Zeek took the controls and let's say we flew maybe 4 or was it 5 times over the airport and either got stuck in the cement or ended in the water.
Here is how we ended our flight.

Note to myself: practice, practice, practice

KenAir---Today's escape and adventure

KenAir is a fun and adventurous airline in Second Life.
The fleet consists of six aircrafts as of July 2015 owned and operated by Keneth Kranfel.

The main hub for KenAir is the SCS Airport located on the Frasier Island Region south of the Blake Sea.

I think the best thing about KenAir is that you get a human to talk to. It is not a mechanical script of the airline jargon you would normally hear.
You don't require a ticket, you don't pay $Ls. You may donate if you like.

For more information about flights please contact the owner Keneth Kranfel or PR Chief Anjelikka Galicia(Anjelikka) inworld.

Flying Lessons 3

As you may recall, I was taking some flying lessons with my instructor Herr Kranfel. The newest plane of the KenAir fleet was waiting at St. Martin Airfield.

This shouldn't be that bad, looks like a small plane.

Looks much bigger inside. Yes, very spacious indeed.

And off we go and we are up in the air. The Herr Kranfel decided to just hand over the controls to me, so I can learn how to fly this new plane. I mean just like this without even a practice flight?

He said, the controls are basically the same as the plane you already have flown. So, go for it.

Does it suppose to fly upside down like this? I think I am in trouble here. How do these controls work again?
Needless to say Herr Kranfel had to take over several times or we would have crashed into the cold Blake Sea.

KenAir

There were several technical difficulties with the flying lessons today. Most of the training fell into the water due to grid crash, so I cannot count any of these hours towards my training.

But good news, KenAir now has a hangar on Frasier Island at SCS Airport.

Busy working

I am sure the boss won't mind me updating my blog.

Hope you stop by the hangar and explore the airport a little.

Flying Lessons 2

A new day and back to the review of knowing what controls to push and when....well almost.

This time the flight is at night with KenAir and Herr Kranfel is ready to let me copilot or is he?
No wait, I can do this...this button or this one?

I don't think it took off the ground until Herr Kranfel took over the controls.
Not sure if he was tired from the flight or was he frustrated because the plane did not take off. I know it could not have been me, even-so he had to explain it several times.

Flying Lessons 1

Herr Kranfel was very generous and offered to show me once again how to fly a plane for Ken*Air.

I was explaining to Herr Kranfel how the wings and flaps work on the plane. ( I forgot to actually study for the test )I don't think he was too impressed with this.

Ok, so before I sit in the pilot seat Herr Kranfel needed to check the plane once more...Hey I said plane NOT me. He only speaks German and may have misunderstood this.

Let's see who gets there faster. I was reminded that all crew members must be fit.

Finally...I am flying. Yes, I know just a little over water, but I am flying. This was still the little plane and who knows one day I will be on the big one.

Balloons by Cica Ghost

In a surreal landscape of daisies, fog and twisted buildings, giant wanderers strive to reach their beloved balloons. Enter the world of Balloons, by Cica Ghost.
A calm place to visit and a very cool place to take pictures at. Hurry and see this exhibit before it goes away. Cica always comes up with new ideas.

Thanks Robstar for taking me to this place and it made it more fun flying around it.

Some adorable kittens...no, I did not bring one home.

A well deserved rest after all the flying.

Hollywood Airport

Still have flying on my mind, so I stopped by the Hollywood Airport. If you never tried flying, you may want to stop by here and check out the planes that are coming and going and maybe try one of the free planes yourself.
They also play some pretty cool tunes there.

Micheal even got a tour on a helicopter :) And he survived....so check it out soon.

The art of flying

“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”

Leonardo da Vinci

Ok...so I needed to try it out when I saw it. I mean how hard can it be to fly a plane?

The Aero Pines Airport is the perfect place to find out. So power up that engine and up we go.
Crashing......

I then tried something a little easier...this worked much better :)
Come and see me and I will give you this bike on a ballon :)

Flying

Woohoo, I got to fly my very first plane. In Second Life you can almost instantly fly a plane and never worry about crashing down to earth. You still crash, but all you have to do is dust yourself off and try again.
As a premium member you get some gifts once in awhile, so this one is a small plane that you can fly.
Needless to say it was fun.

Stuff to do in SL

"If my love were an ocean,

there would be no more land.
If my love were a desert,
you would see only sand.
If my love were a star-
late at night, only light.
And if my love could grow wings,
I'd be soaring in flight."
— Jay Asher (Thirteen Reasons Why)

I am so amazed about the stuff you can do here in Second Life.
Today I did...Windsurfing

Then I flew over the hills and sea with a glider....woohoo watch out below

Once I was back on the ground, someone was checking me out...LOL
