The Chapel at the Retreat

The chapel at the Retreat is being restored to a better version and will be ready by the end of the month for weddings and pictures or just quiet moments.

There is no charge for using the chapel. If you would like to have a wedding and need an officiant, a photographer or a DJ for your reception just let me know. We can work on a comfortable price to get you the wedding of your dreams. 

The Retreat has its own dance club, a garden, a honeymoon suite...it is all here for relaxing and most of all picture taking.
Stop by soon at one of the events at either the club or the Retreat. The Club has a DJ on Saturdays from 6-8PM SLT.

Taking the leap from “just friends”to actually being in a relationship !!!

Scary? Yes, because you have both been in relationships that failed; and you never know what might happen, or if the risk of losing him as a friend is even worth making him your boyfriend. But, for me it was, and always will be.

I have known Greg for a little more than 2 years now and we both have been on the roller coaster of ups and downs when it comes to relationships in second life.

To this point we have never been a couple, we have been "just friends". Not that we ever thought about more, but we have that utmost respect for each other that we never discussed this " more than friends" scenario.

Just forget the risk, take the fall, if it’s meant to be it’s worth it all.

A best friend loves you and will always love you. They tell you when you’re wrong/right/and look goofy. A best friend will fight with you and laugh with you and go through hell and back for you. When your best friend turns out to be your boyfriend, he does all that while worshiping the ground you walk on, adoring every move you make and getting excited about what the future holds not only for you, but for both of you as a couple. He will love you and teach you how to let him love you. He will crave your smile and your touch and praise you for all the little things. He will love you like no other.

I will hope that our true friends will support us in this new adventure and will feel the joy with us. For those who don't, we wish you well and send you hugs and kisses, because we know you need them.

The T2 Virtual PTSD Experience is an immersive, interactive learning experience designed to educate visitors about combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  Learn about the Causes, Symptoms, and Help Available for PTSD following deployment.

This is a very cool place to get information about PTSD even if you are not a combat veteran. Symptoms are the same for non-combat as well as combat triggered PTSD.

Cookin' up some Rumors!!!

There are so many things to say about rumors. We all know that rumors are created by those who hate. They hate life, they hate people , they hate it when someone might be happy and they are not. You know I am right here, because you have met people like this. They LOVE to gossip about others, whether it is true or not. The best advice I can give you is ask the source, ask the person who is involved if the rumor you heard about them is true. A true and honest friend would do that.

Those who spread the rumors are truly fools. They really are. Think about it. What do you know about the person who is spreading those rumors? Are they reliable? Are they part of the issue? Why are they telling you this crap? And here it gets really tricky now....if you are accepting the rumors let me burst your bubble. Those who accept rumors are pure idiots. Yes, I said it. They are nothing but stupid idiots who have no clue what the real truth is.

Cooking up some rumors? Yes...ask me what is up!!!

The pixel world is run by fools who are just as distorted in second life as they are in real life. Don't be one of them !!!

July Extravaganza!!!

The Retreat is ready for your Summer adventure. Come to the Basement Club and dance under the stars every Saturday at 6-8PM SLT with DJ Heath and hostess Linette.

Come watch some fireworks, they are not only for the 4th of July but we celebrate all month long.

Bring your sweetheart to the garden at the Retreat and relax, dance and enjoy the scenery. We love to have you here...it is open to all people and free.

Stroll on the path and see the fabulous Galicia Art & Cultural Hall filled with new art from artists around the grid monthly.

Dancing under the Stars @ the Basement Club!!!

It was nothing BUT fabulous...DJ Heath played some hot hot tunes and Linette looked so cute in her red-white-blue outfit. Then there was the fireworks, which was oh sooo nice. They lit up the night sky with lots of colors.

Don't worry if you missed it. We will have the July Extravaganza throughout July and dance under the stars at the Basement Club!!!
Just use the TP (teleport) and walk the path and find us there. Every Saturday 6-8PM SLT.
