“Burn me in the warmth of your breath...

...Don't Let me freeze in this cold hell of numbness!”

This used to be my favorite spot at the Retreat. I could sit here and admire the beautiful house, the garden and all that goes with it. I waited the endless hours for you to come and ask me that one question, but it never appeared on my screen. "A boy and a girl. Meeting halfway. Hoping for a happy ever after."

I have outlasted all desire,
My dreams and I have grown apart;
My grief alone is left entire,
The gleamings of an empty heart.(
Alexander Pushkin)

Without love everything can be nothing. Does that make me want to love?  Pleasure and pain are on the same side of the coin of human experience. The opposite is indifference or numbness.

Skedaddle

pack up and leave
When a relationship is over, feelings of rejection can numb your sense of self and wreck your balance. For many jilted lovers, the first impulse is to try to fix what’s broken or recover what was lost. How can you ever move on?

You can just pack up and leave or face the fact that there will be up and downs.

face the fears and all that goes with it
Face your grief. It can be tempting to avoid grief. You may be fearful that it will be too painful, especially since you’ve lost someone and something precious. But repressing your grief can result in depression, anxiety, obsession, suppressed immune system, and chronic despair. Avoiding grief keeps you feeling stuck and powerless.
don't get pushed by a hummingbird
It is not possible to be friends. They were your best friend but you shared a physical relationship with them which makes your relationship with them way more complex than normal friendship. There are cases where exes are friends but they will tell you that either it was not a serious relationship or they were too young or the plain fact they still love each other very dearly.

now think and think again

There is not time frame when the pain has to end, but don't sit there forever either. Time to do some fun things again.

The Archdiocese of Lepanto

The archdiocese of Lepanto is a Catholic Church in Second Life. Even if you are not religious you will appreciate the fine details here. It is quiet a peaceful place to visit. You can also visit their Flickr page and see the different events they offer throughout the year.

I am not sure if I was praying or contemplating some plans of not catholic like.

What is trouble anyway?

Is trouble the prey on someone's mind? It could mean so many things. You could be in trouble, get in trouble or be troubled by something or someone. Trouble could be an inconvenience of some sort or another.

It could be personal habit or trait that is a disadvantage or a cause of mental distress. Either way too much trouble is never good for anyone.

Often in times of trouble
we don't know what to say,
So we choose to say nothing,

and sometimes run away.

alone and nothing to do, may cause me to get into trouble
When friends are really hurting,
we don't know what to do,
So we offer weak excuses

or say we're hurting too.

I have trouble staying dry when I am near water

It really doesn't matter
what kind of gift we bring;
We only need to be there

if we don't bring a thing.

Tai Chi in outer space can wash away the troubled mind
It truly is amazing
what a hug can do,
When heartache numbs the senses,

and friends depend on you.
There's comfort just in knowing
that you are not alone,
When tears are overflowing,
and hearts are cold as stone.
It's the loving prayers of others
that balance our accounts,
For when we measure love,

it's still the thought that counts.

Now I would not want to trouble your head but we can pour some oil over troubled water. I suppose you can be storing up trouble for the future if you don't go to the dentist now. Then again if something is more trouble than it's worth or is not worth the trouble, it is not important or useful enough to make an effort doing it.

When I see the moon later I know you sent it over for me and it was no trouble at all!

All on a Thursday...

Remember those Dragons I was gonna fight? Well it turned out those dragon at Sirens Isle have a party with one DJing and people from all around the Blake Sea go there in their boats and dance to the music.

party central at the siren isle
Of course my nosy self had to take a closer look. I just did not want to look suspicious, so I figured since it is the ocean and all a fish balloon would fit in.

I do not think he was buying the "Help me" cries
Trouble is others may think you are either mentally not stable or you are in serious trouble and need help...

Later that day I went fishing. Not exactly the same type of fishing you would consider in the ocean, but I made a temporary bridge over Route 12 from the Retreat to the other side and sat there to fish the little cars that go by.
...and then I DJed for 2 sets and actually was tired...

Got one!

oh deer...the stars are falling from the sky...

Road Trip

It was time to think about how to spend hours of needless time wasting, but then I got the idea why not go on a "Road Trip"?

So, I unpacked the brand new and I mean NEW out of the box

'64 SELVAGGIO (which is actually a Mustang).

Now let me tell you about something about this car...OMG it drives like a dream and the package comes in two cars convertible like this one or the closed version and it has tons and tons of controls and color changes. I love it :)You can buy this car here :

CRMC - '64 SELVAGGIO

Let me check the map...yes let us drive Route 12

"Yeah, I said it's all right
I won't forget
All the times I waited patiently for you
I think you'll do (just what) you choose to do
And I will be alone again tonight my dear"

I love the radio in this car....singing along to Calexico-Alone again or"
"Yeah, I heard a funny thing
Somebody said to me
You know that I could be in love, with almost everyone
I think that people are the greatest fun
And I will be alone again tonight, my dear"

Oh yes, plenty of horse power under the hood...Thank you Devon for turning me on...to the car that is :)
And for my next stop? Let's go fight some dragons...coming?

Catacombe de Paris

The Catacombs of Paris (French: Catacombes de Paris, are underground ossuaries in ParisFrance, which hold the remains of more than six million people...and lucky for me I found some in Second Life.

A teleport out of boredom landed me back to Paris, which I have been before. This time however I found the catacombs. You will find them underground in the subway system (Métropolitain).

map de Paris
If you are close to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, go down the entrance of the subway there. Going there alone is quite creepy, but I had no other choice.

dancing with the skeletons
One tip, do not eat down there...the menu has a lot of bone containing dishes, not sure where they came from but like I said may not be the best place to eat in Paris.

I will skip the meat sandwich and just have dessert

Those oldies but goodies reminds me of you

The songs of the past bring back memories of you
I always remember the first night we met
The songs they were playing I never will forget

The Ionic Disaster

There are so many creators in Second Life selling their products and I feel when it comes to buying a product a creator needs to be behind their stuff.

In this case it wasn't even for a refund or anything, this was a person who played the gacha machine from Ionic who's creator is Lakua Arriaga. I mean I love gachas and yes I played to get the rare item and most of the times you get lucky eventually and get that rare, but this is down right ridiculous so I decided to share this story so other will know about it. She truly sucked and nope I won't buy any products from her anymore. What do you think?

Divine Celestial "Fun"

A CHERUB'S FESTIVAL

One glorious Sunday afternoon

I walked through a field of vanilla
so sweet to my senses
as I was humming a heavenly tune.
So I laid beside a flowing brook
and dreamt of angels in the clouds
so peaceful to my soul
as I opened my eyes, to the sky I looked.
A rainbow of colors so bright and gay
appeared all of a sudden up there
so vividly to my eyes
as I stood up and jumped to catch a ray.
I felt as I was in the clouds so high
where a cherub festival was played
so joyful to my mind
as I learned in my dream to fly.
poem by Anjelikka

We had a special set at the Basement Club called Angels and Demons (Devils) which was really cool. Always fun to dress up in  costumes and for me my favorite as an angel.

Come and join us next time at the Basement Club. Every Saturday and Sunday 6-8 PM SLT. You never know what we will be up to, but you can count that the music will be good. We play music not just tunes :) See you there.

Finally....???

A ring is as sparkling as a pool to jump into and there are many traditions on how and why women love those rings. It is not the diamond really, it is the birthstone that makes the ring surrounded by the sparkle of diamonds.

Rings are more important to women than men. Women love wearing the ring to scare off men and also to show off to their friends. It is kinda a measure of his love to you.

A ring does not necessary mean a wedding ring or engagement ring. It can just be a ring to reflect love and friendship. Either way she will love it.

Your ring is to announce to the world, "I'm taken!" Heck, even if you just like sparkly jewelry {and who doesn't? }, I think that's reason enough, you know? I mean, I wouldn't judge your boyfriend if he wanted a lift kit for his pickup truck or a fly-fishing reel. We're allowed to want things just because.

Well, I am gonna skateboard for a bit, perhaps I stumble over a diamond along the way. Here is some food for thought: An uncut diamond. (idiomatic) A person whose goodness or other positive qualities are hidden by a harsh or unremarkable surface appearance.
Ugh, I have too much time during the summer months to think.

Happy 4th of July!!!

enjoying the fireworks
The Fourth of July – also known as Independence Day or July 4th – has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues.

@the Basement Club roof
The great thing in Second Life is that you can see many firework all year round. I enjoyed the fireworks here on the roof at the Basement Club.

Wishing you all the best 4th of July ever, whether in Real Life or Second Life.

American people are fortunate to live in a country where their freedoms are guaranteed in a constitution that has been enforced since 1788.  Unfortunately, people all around the world are not as lucky to have freedoms we often take for granted.  Americans must be grateful for what they have, as well as advocate freedom around the world.
We enjoy freedoms that millions of people could only hope to have.  The First Amendment alone grants us the freedoms of religion, speech, press, and to peaceably assemble and petition the government.  In countries around the world, people can be jailed or killed for opposing the government.

Memories fade but the scars still linger

...as we prepare for the 4th of July, remember the freedom we have...It is not all fireworks and BBQs!!!
Mc Donald's, an American tradition
 There's only need
I love your need
So much I'm losing me
I cannot see the reason for the Pain
With hungry joy
I'll be your toy
Just hoping you will play
Without hope my body starts to fail
Memories fade but the scars still linger
Goodbye my friend
Will I ever love again
Memories fade but the scars still linger
I cannot grow
I cannot move
I cannot fell my age
The vice like grip of tension holds me fast
Engulfed by you
What can I do
When History's my cage
Look foward to a future in the past
The more I talk
The more I say
The less you seem to hear
I'm speechless in a most peculiar way
Your mind is weak
Your need is great
And nothing is too dear
For you to use to take the Pain away
Memories Fade
No don't pretend you can justify the end
Memories fade but the scars still linger
never forget

Winter in Summer Party on the roof!!!

on the roof
I was getting the Basement Club Roof ready for our "Winter in Summer" event and found these adorable raccoons. I am keeping them.

The party on the roof was a total success and we had so much fun melting the snow.

We even had winners for the contest and also the letter board and I believe everybody had fun. Fun is the most important to us.

Join us the next time at the Basement Club!!!
