Life is so simple but we choose to complicate it....

To love another with all of your heart

Can be seen as a work of art.

You brush, you stroke, you pour, you spill,

Do you allow your Inner Light and Truth to guide you or do you allow Fear to paralyze you and keep you in Darkness? Whenever we find ourselves in a situation where we might be feeling sad, depressed, angry, judgmental etc., we need to realize that we are in fact feeling fear, a fear of something and we also have to keep in mind that fear was created by us, fear is not real, we made it up, while on the other hand, LOVE is real, LOVE is our natural state of being, that’s who we are, that’s what created us, and that’s what’s real. So why choose FEAR when you can choose LOVE?

Life is so simple but we choose to complicate it. We always seem to be balancing between love and fear and failure.

Keep it positive

Every day the news is filled with stories about war, terrorism, crime, pollution, inequality, drug abuse and oppression. I also believe that the media forgets to balance all the negative stuff in the world with many good news stories. They do happen. Humanity still has some positive sides and is not all that bad as the news describes. 

There are many great news stories full of smiles out there. You just have to pick what you really want to read or hear about:

A 96 WWII veteran who received 50 thousand birthday cards from all over because he was afraid he would maybe only get a few cards. Most of his friends and family passed away. His daughter then took to social media with a plea for strangers to brighten her father’s day with a simple birthday card – and the internet was quick to respond.

Did you know: More people are living longer and fuller lives thanks to a steadily declining cancer mortality rate.

According to a report from the American Cancer Society, the cancer death rate in the United States has declined by 27% over the course of the last 25 years.

As of 2016, the cancer death rate for men and women combined had fallen 27% from its peak in 1991. This decline translates to nearly 2.6 million deaths averted during this time period.

You don't have to wait for the stars to come out, you can reach high anytime. It is all up to you. If you believe it it will happen.
You never know they could come from a different planet and bring you the things you had on your list.

We invite you to savor the photographic delights of SL in an exhibition by the participants of "Visual Feast - Black & White".

 

The exhibition opens on 05. January at 11.00 a.m. SLT with music by DJ Fae, at the Lyric Art Gallery at Sea Island Modern Fantasy Role play. Join us for a couple of hours to treat your eyes to lovely slices of life in SL and maybe chat or dance a little!

2019 arrived

2019 arrived and as I reflect I must say I am very fortunate to have friends. 

DJ Dandy is one of those friends who really is nice to all people. He is not the kind to talk crap about them nor does he worry about who likes him or does not. One thing I can say he would be the one person who would show up at a set of mine when nobody would be there. He really is a great DJ and yes he also tried being a host, which he is getting good at too. I appreciate him, I do. He is not afraid to try out the crazy ideas I have for sets we do together and goes with the flow of laughter. Thank you Dandy for always being there.

Grum is one of the friends you want to have. He may look alien like(elfish) but do not let that discourage you at all. Inside he is gentle and has a heart of pure gold.

I know I can be very stubborn and I would rather run and hide but with a friend like Grum he won't let you feel sorry in your own pity of wasted sorrows. I appreciate that so very much. I hope I am useful and helpful on his days of darkness as well. 

I am glad he returned to Second Life, so I can make some more fun of his ears and creamy white skin...like I said alien-like.

Thank you to all the friends who gave me encouragement during the past year...when days felt like they got swallowed in the deep dark world of loneliness. I realize with friends things are much easier to deal with than trying to be that super person and doing it all alone. People all face hardships and not all days are filled with sunshine. There is always a rainbow after the rain...well at least the sun will shine again.

I know 2019 will be a good year. It is the year of the PIG:
