Fill your glass up with "joy"

Sometimes you just have to be in charge and control certain things. It is easy to forget that happiness really does come from within. We sometimes get off track and rely on external sources to fill our so-called half empty glass. We also tend to resort to short-term happiness to feel fulfilled. Yes, it may help for a while, but if we continue to do these things, we will never be content.

One of the reasons we get burned out is because we don't have enough balance in our lives, and when we’re super-busy, self-care is typically the first thing we cut from our schedules. Ironically, the times when we’re most busy are probably when we need self-care the most. Start to reprioritize your schedule and make room for activities you enjoy so you can find a healthier balance.

Positive social connections are a cornerstone of happiness and health. A conversation with a friend can have a lasting positive effect, increasing your energy and cultivating motivation. In fact, simply belonging to a social group or having a minimal personal connection with another person creates lasting and significant drive. So hang out with your favorite friend as often as you can.

Before you know it you jump for joy. Laughter, after all, is the best medicine in so many ways to get you into the right frame of mind. You should laugh really hard every day as often as you can.

He should always treat you like the queen you are. Because you are worth it and you deserve it.
