Imagination and humor keep us going in hard times!

“For the survivor who chooses to testify, it is clear: his duty is to bear witness for the dead and for the living. He has no right to deprive future generations of a past that belongs to our collective memory. To forget would be not only dangerous but offensive; to forget the dead would be akin to killing them a second time,” ~Elie Wiesel

We cannot keep our eyes shut and believe it is forgotten, because it is not. For those who survived, they had the obligation to pass on to the next generations that life will go on only when those who are brave speak out and make sure it is not forgotten.

January 27 is International Remembrance Day of the Holocaust, so if you do not know what this is go learn about it. Anne Frank said it best, "Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart."

When I visited Planet by Cica Ghost it reminded me how our mind can think of new worlds to escape the pressures and stress of life in the real world and how it must have been to those who were trying to survive the horrors of their daily lives. Here you can be amongst aliens and creatures who mean no harm to anyone. They seem gentle and whimsical.

Imagination and humor keep many of us going in the bleakness of quarantine and loneliness. This is a fun place to walk around amongst the creatures and magical plants. It reminds me of many of the paintings I have done of creatures who only exist in my imagination and I bring alive on paper. What a great thing we have when in Second Life you can bring all of it into a 3D perspective.

I hope you go and visit here soon, the perfect place to relax on a Shabbat weekend.
Shalom!
