KenAir adventures

Time for a helicopter ride with KenAir. We are going over Ahab's Haunt. (What's secrets will you discover as you set sail from Ahab's Haunt? Start near the massive leviathan skeleton and explore the surrounding seas, which are filled with sunken boats and even a submarine.)

There were several technical difficulties with the flying lessons today. Most of the training fell into the water due to grid crash, so I cannot count any of these hours towards my training.

But good news, KenAir now has a hangar on Frasier Island at SCS Airport.

I want to go somewhere

I love planes and airports, even here in Second Life you can find many of them. I came across this one in a far away place.
I really feel I have to get away sometimes and it would be cool to just fly away.If you know of some cool places why don't you suggest them to me and I will travel there and post them here on the blog.

If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down!

Now, before you strap yourself into one of these fine machines, know that only practice makes perfect.

My first experience was not that glamorous. I wanted to badly take off and fly the skies in Second Life and landed nose first into the deep water at Blake Sea.

I was spinning out of control on the other attempts and there was no time to look at maps or chat or anything. You are out there in control and you lose control as quickly as you take off. I am not sure why people have to set the security orbs over their lands. Get real residents who would steal your stuff here? Let us fly.

Needless to say I ended up in a sky-dome and it took awhile to get out of the mess. I hope I did not leave any damage.

Vauhn seems to have better control over this jet and I must admit I am a better navigator than a pilot.

We will get this, I am learning...and then watch out.

Black Forest Hot Springs

This is a place that we will explore a little more the next time we have time. We just happen to take a little break and stumbled upon this place.

If you like WWII dog fights, then this is the place to go. You can fly the little planes and fight. We didn't get around doing this, but watched the others on this sim have a lot of fun doing it.

We did try our own planes and found out that our skills are nothing to scream about. Well, I did scream going down into the water.

I think Vauhn is going down...lol

Anyway go visit this place when you get a chance.

California! When the rest of the world freezes up, you can be sure of that the sun still shines in California. 

Crossing Sands is a wonderful sim filled with actions. If you like cars, motorcycles, then this is the place for you. You can also fly a plane or ride a boat...or just enjoy the scenery.
Bring your shades and suntan lotion. There are plenty of places to cool down with some cold ones.
