Are Men Better Drivers Than Women? Come test drive....

Well, let's see and think about this first before we make any judgements...

Men, first of all,  take much bigger risks than women do. It is a proven fact that men want to show off their masculinity while driving. They make turns when it is not safe and they love speed.

However, men do have a better knowledge of the car in itself. They understand the machine and yes they name their cars.

But then again, in real life, I have named my cars. This means women are catching up to men in the business with cars. I find that women are more likely to text while driving, so that is not a good thing at all. Come on ladies, it can wait!!!

Arranmore

Arranmore is an absolutely frightening place. I recommend you take someone with you before you visit this place.

Beware of everything here, even the visitors itself can be scary and creepy.

I think Greg was inspecting my neck to make sure I had not bite marks there. We were hiding out in a Zombie hideout. Kinda a dirty place, I mean Zombies need to be cleaner. We did not find any Zombies and no marks on my neck either.

I want to thank DrakiAzul for this cool picture of himself. We asked him to be our pet and we could keep him in the Basement of the Retreat. He declined our offer and said Drakis do not make good pets and Nutella was not the food he needed but had some new prospects in mind. They were new visitors at Arranmore.

I decided a would get ready for any monster or a creepy fool who wanted to harm me and Greg with my gun.

The scariest part of all was the little chapel with the ventriloquist sitting in a pew talking. When he talked about marriage we were ready to run. He was a cute little booger in his own way. When you see him tell him Anjelikka said hello.

LICK: Byrd Island

"Welcome to Byrd Island. Take a step back in time to explore this once inhabited island. The lighthouse keeper and his family abruptly left the island never to return. Could it have been the birds, or something else? Byrd Island is now open for tours. Check the schedule for the next ferry from the mainland."

A gorgeous place to visit and explore is Byrd Island. If you have a love or interest in birds, you will find them here for sure.

After exploring go and relax in the lighthouse by the fireplace. You hear the birds and ocean waves even in here.
So come and have a look at this really nice place.

COOL RUSH

"Cool Rush is all about space and adventure! Will you find aliens, space ships or strange plant life that no one has ever seen before? Will you be abducted by passing UFOs for stepping foot on forbidden grounds? Explore the glowing stars surrounding this otherworldly sim or seek out the spaceships hidden on the moon."

If you want to see the world in different colors you may want to check out Cool Rush. I love the colors here of fresh cool neon. 

You will find various poses and "oh alien spaceships" here on the bottom level of the sim. Take a compass, because you can easily be trapped and get disoriented by the landscape.

Be careful and do not fall into the traps of the aliens. I was surely lucky because they did not like my mesh body. Watch out, they may like yours.

We have no clue where to go from here and I am looking at Greg, well? We are lost! Maybe not...we used the teleport history to get right back to the entry and from there you find another teleporter that will take you to different locations. Try them all!

Ironwood Hills

The world has seen an apocalypse event and nothing is the same at Ironwood Hills.Are you ready? Do you dare want to come and search for any survivors? 

What really happened here at Ironwood Hills? 

Around every corner there is something you will find and discover, but be warned it may be creepy and eerie. My best advise it to go with someone else...in my case he did not stood a chance...see below.

I know you will have a fantastic adventure here, as the moon light glistening along the forest floor with patterns made by the shadow of the towering trees. Even the wildlife was silent in a way that it seemed like they felt the same cold chill of the fear down their spine and against their cheek. I felt like thousands of eyes seemed to be watching me but none could be seen.

Be extra cautious at the asylum...At the end of the hallway, a solitary brass lamp, itself half lost in darkness, was mounted upon the cracked and yellowing wall. Its two thin, up-thrust arms extended electric candles. Their tapered bulbs cast shadows, transforming the lamp into the visage of some dark god who mocked the light. Perhaps the dreaded deity was Lucifer himself, I thought. So I ran as fast as I could.

Casablanca's Rick’s Café Américain

So I wait in his office and he comes in looking at me with this serious look on his face. " Alright toots what can I do for you? " He asks with a grin on his face.
"Oh, Mister I am in need of some Lindens and they told me to come to you and kindly asked you for this favor." I reluctantly ask him.

"I don't give out loans to just about anybody. It would have to be very special to give anything out so freely in these days. But you look like a nice dame and we may need to discuss this further." 
" I would love to discuss this with you Mister. I can offer you something you may really appreciate. What do you think?" I excitingly challenge him.
"Oh really doll? I am all ears." He straightens himself up in the chair and looks right at me.
"Let me whisper this into your ear. I do not want anyone to hear me." Trying to convince him to listen to my plea.

"Go ahead doll, I am all yours. Tell me now, why I would do any type of business with you." he fidgety responds. Waiting for the answer as if he knew what it was to begin with,but let's me persuade him.

It wasn't a hard challenge at all, because I could feel he was into me right from the start. I wanted to set this deal into motion as soon as we could get out of this joint. He insisted we go over to Rick’s Café Américain and do a little dancing. "I want to feel you near-at-hand doll, if ya know what I mean. Feel your curves as your sweet rose scent impending my mind." he sheepishly reveals.

I feel his breath on my neck generating a pleasant shiver of euphoria and weakens my knees. He quickly holds on to me and says: " I got you toots, I got you. " Oh, yes you do, I am thinking. You got me alright. My heart pounding and I am suddenly taken over by him and there is nothing I can negotiate at all at this point. I am intoxicated by his embrace.

"How about we leave this joint?" He smiles and winks at me? " Yes of course, I would love to." I quickly reply.

And the rest I cannot reveal because a lady never tells her secrets not even you. I can mention one thing, the night was not over and a new adventure immersed with a spellbound intensity you can only imagine.

Lazy days of summer at The Mill and La Vie

The butterflies are floating through the air.

The grass is green,

and the trees are tall.

As the wind whistles through my hair,

I let life pass me by.

As time ticks and the clock goes by,

the flowers grow taller as life passes me by.

But now it's time to stop dreaming,

There are two beautiful sims to visit this Summer. Each more beautiful than the other. Each with the Summer essence of long lasting days.

The Mill, a charming rural sim with many picturesque spots, is perfect for a picture and a relaxing time. Enjoy the beach, walk in the town area, ride a horse or simply sit and admire the view. Hop on the tram to the beach or sit and relax in the town's cafe. The Mill offers much to discover and photograph!

La Vie is a cozy beach area with so many spots to sit and take in the beauty of the waves and the Summer air.

Hearts Cove

Hearts Cove is one of those sims where you can go sit and dream about things. In this case it was Greg sharing his dream he had.

Dream as if you'll live forever. 

Live as if you'll die today.

Greg:"...so we found a river leading into the gulf...and followed it upstream...and it was perfectly clear water with white sandy bottoms and small pebbles mixed with it, not real wide and not deep.
Anyway we could see fish and turtles swimming..it was cool..UNTIL..."

And then the dream stops!!! Well, some dreams need to be explored I think so one can find the answer.

Rivers symbolize your journey in life whether its physical or spiritual one. If the river water is flowing fast it can mean rapid changes might occur soon. It is also possible that you feel out of control in your life and need to slow down. If the river is calm and peaceful it means being comfortable with the changes in your walking life.

I hope you go and visit Hearts Cove and explore some of your dreams or make some dreams come true. Either way it is a place to go and check out.

Lakeside-revisted

You may break, you may shatter the vase, if you will, But the scent of the roses will hang round it still.

One of my very best friends in Second Life is Greg. He has remained and comforted me when relationships failed. We all need that one friend we can count on and get his shirt wet from tears. The past month has not been easy on me and I wonder why such drama even exists in second life? I suppose it is because behind each Avatar is a human being who drives it and humans LOVE drama, I think?

Sometimes it is best to just sit down and talk and let it all out. It helps to have a good listening ear such as your best friend. 

What also helps is a beautiful sim to go to and escape to like Lakeside. I used to come here often and it always was beautiful and serene. There are some new spots added to the place and it is worth it to come and check it out.

Lakeside is a romantic place where you can lose yourself very easily. Don't hesitate to come and visit this lovely place. Bring your friend, some tissues and let it all out. Maybe you just want to smile and feel happy? This is the place :)

Spring is here :)

Spring is ready for all of us to enjoy and in Second Life Spring looks ever so beautiful. I hope you go out there and visit many locations and see all the details people put into their work. It is absolutely amazing when you think everything was created by someone.

Le Cactus by Maya Paris

I had so much fun at this place. Don't miss it!!! The music is vibrant, the colors oh WOW!!! You also get some free costumes here so you can dance your heart out. I was so inspired I made a little video of it.
