Looks like Santa stopped by the Retreat and brought some goodies which then were rewarded by some warm kisses. Even Santa needs a hug and kiss once in awhile. All those cookies and milk cannot be good. He told me he prefers the kisses much more than the donuts I left on the fireplace for him.

The first snowfall
"Snow was falling,
so much like stars
filling the dark trees
that one could easily imagine
its reason for being was nothing more
than prettiness.”
― Mary Oliver
Finally, the snow is coming down at the Retreat. Pretty soon it will be Winter Wonderland. Stop by soon and come see the reindeer roaming around. Wear a coat and mittens...Baby it's cold out there.

Titanawak
Titanawak is a huge boat frozen in time and ice. Come and have a drink at the bar with friends, a talk by the fireside, have a dinner, dance, play the piano for your lover, relax in the lounges, games room, library, bedroom or pool. Learn the exhibited artwork, the museum dedicated to the Titanic memorabilia. Explore the sea ice, icebergs and their secret places.
I enjoyed this very "cool" place. I will be back for sure, because there is much to see behind those icebergs.
Beware of the cold climate...it may take you over.
It was funny in away and I did not get any pictures of this, but there was this guy and Micheal who challenged each other for a dance off. What people do when they are cold. Needless to say it was pretty funny and I cannot decide the winner here at all. Perhaps they need to have an official dance-off. What do you think?

Imaginaria
"Imaginaria is a winter-themed sim with a magical secret garden, snow, forests, a frozen pond, ice skating, a covered bridge and many other beautiful winter scenes. It's a great place to take pictures or just explore, relax and hang out."
It is a truly beautiful place to go and visit. Calm and peaceful and perfect for picture taking. Here are a few of my captures:
The air is fresh and clean and magic truly comes alive here.

Canadian Winter :) Is that all year or half a year?
A Canadian is walking down the street with a case of beer under his arm.
His friend Doug stops him and asks, "Hey Bob! Whacha get the case of beer for?"
"I got it for my wife, eh." answers Bob.
"Oh!" exclaims Doug, "Good trade."
The Canadian Wilderness is now open again with lots of places to explore with your Canadian Mountie. There is dancing, skating and lots of wild life animals. Lucky for us there is no ice storm or black out here, so head on over before the snow all melts :) Oh wait it is Canada, that means the snow should be there at least until May or so.

Winter in SL
Winter in SL is always special. I am always amazed of the talent people have and feel so grateful to be able to see the beauty of Winter in all the different sims around the grid.
Postcard Christmas is a gorgeous place to explore. Filled with realistic and fun animals, art in various buildings, a gorgeously glowing winter forest and more.
I have started to decorate our garden retreat a little for Winter, but nothing like last year.
Well, I better go back to work and finish before Christmas....come and stop by and ice skate on our small little rink over the pool.

Winter is Coming to SL
“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”
It is so lovely to see Winter evolve in Second Life. You feel the cool crisp snow, the warmth of the fireplace, the smell of the pine trees.
You can visit this beautiful sim called Small Town Green, dress warm and comfy because all the green is covered with snow. We will have to visit often during the Winter season and get inspired.
Sometimes it isn't just avatars that are dressed in warm clothing, there are also furry friends who get into the action.
We had Little Pony Piper visit us at Club Melatonin. She is sooo cute and I would love to keep her, but Micheal reminded me we already have 5 cats to feed.
