A pictureress retreat

The cozy pond for you to enjoy is ready. The retreat is really a lovely place to take photographs at. I try to look at all angles when I set and place items so they look good in pictures. I hope you stop by and enjoy this retreat.

Don't forget to look inside the Chateau because I furnished it and I must say it looks really nice.

There are many little details and extras at the retreat, so take your time as you walk on the path. Most of all enjoy.

Thank you to those who have left Lindens in the tip jar, what a lovely surprise. It most definitely will help to keep the retreat going and to improve it and to host some fun events too.

Millhouse Beanery

The Millhouse Beanery is an early 1800’s water mill that's been tastefully converted into a charming coffeehouse. Its cozy retro vibe and décor offer the perfect environment for friends to meet, for couples first date and dockside dances. The beautiful wooded scenery make for the perfect backdrop to capture all those special moments.

This is a realy cool place to hang out at and take pictures. Micheal and myself were just chilling when a cute puppy came and joined us.

Of course there are plenty of other things to do at the beanery.

We really recommend this place, so head on over there today and enjoy the scenery. :)

Winter is Coming to SL

“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” 

It is so lovely to see Winter evolve in Second Life. You feel the cool crisp snow, the warmth of the fireplace, the smell of the pine trees. 

You can visit this beautiful sim called Small Town Green, dress warm and comfy because all the green is covered with snow. We will have to visit often during the Winter season and get inspired.
Sometimes it isn't just avatars that are dressed in warm clothing, there are also furry friends who get into the action.
We had Little Pony Piper visit us at Club Melatonin. She is sooo cute and I would love to keep her, but Micheal reminded me we already have 5 cats to feed.

Canadian Wilderness

Considering the fact that Canada is the second largest country on the planet, it is little wonder that it is home to a fabulously diverse range of landscapes and ecological zones. There are over thirty National Parks in Canada that have been established not only to protect and preserve the thousands of species of flora and fauna that inhabit these distinct regions, but also to allow people to explore these areas and experience the wonders within.

The best place to see the Canadian Wilderness in Second Life is here. It is an amazing work of art. Full of nature, adventure and romance. Take the Maple Glades Balloon Tour and spot your favorite spot from the air.

Most defiantly a place you should go and see.

The Cats

The cat does not offer services.  The cat offers itself.  Of course he wants care and shelter.  You don't buy love for nothing.  Like all pure creatures, cats are practical.

Well we have 4 cats still and two kittens awaiting. The thing about cats is that they grow on you and they become part of your family. For us, they are our kids and they get spoiled. 
We now have handsome Camden 2, he is a Foxie. He is playful and always makes sure that he says hello. A true gentleman :)

Next we have Charlotte 2, she is our white Genesis cat. She is calm and quiet for the most part. She so far has delivered one kitten and is now expecting her second one. We hope it will be another Foxie like Camden 2, since he is the Dad :)

Melatonin is our "pink" boy. He may be pink but he wears it proudly. He is a Chateau cat and is a Daddy several times. He truly fell in love with Candie our other pink Chateau cat at first site and the two have been together ever since.

Candie our sweet pink Chateau cat has grown so fast. She is sweet and enjoys cuddles. You won't find her very far away from Melatonin, except when she goes shopping with me. After all, she is all girl.

If you are in need of any kittens, just stop by the retreat and message me inworld. We have several kittens that we are willing to give away for a small fee. KittyCats have 13 prims once they are rezzed. They are breedable. They take about 7 days to grow to full size and they are available in several sizes. The fun part is to breed them and see what kind of cat you will get. Some can be very valuable in the world of Second Life. So give it a try. 

UPDATE: OMG as I was writing this post....Charlotte 2 just had a kitten and it is a special one too.

I added a gate from the A&M Retreat and the Horse Ranch so you can now visit both and take some gorgeous pictures of the animals...look for birds, butterflies, cats of course and some pigeons.

Beautiful Nature

One of my favorite places to explore is where you will find nature all around you. Calas Galadhon is a lovely place. Make sure you landmark it so you can go back often and also visit the rest of the sims that are next to this one. Breathtaking!

It was so much fun to stomp the grapes and then have your own grape juice. I was just covered with the grapes all over.
