Happy New Year !!!

Sometimes Real Life and Second Life collide and for the past 2 ½ years I was pretty content with both. Two months ago it all changed, without warning. Poof it was gone the laughter and friendship and I cannot make any sense of it at all. It is a true heartache you feel.

So for those of you, who are still dealing with heartache, don’t let it get the best of you. When you least expect it life in both worlds can change.

Happy New Year!!!

What is coming up....

I am so excited to announce that the retreat will host the first Halloween Pumpkin Hunt in October. There will be 20 hidden pumpkins throughout the garden and the chateau for you to find. Each pumpkin will contain some free goodies.
Why not check out the retreat now so you can get familiar with it.

Love is...

...dancing in your garden in January in the middle of Winter.

We have been busy redecorating the backyard at the A&M Retreat. There will be a beautiful garden and many poses for picture taking. I love romance :) and Micheal is always full of surprises when it comes to romance.
We are looking forward to celebrate our two years together in March. Wow!!! Where does time go?

Come and see the animals!

Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms. ~George Eliot

I am so happy to report our new neighbor Heather has set up her H&A Horse Ranch, so come and see Anatasha...

Anatasha :)

I added a gate from the A&M Retreat and the Horse Ranch so you can now visit both and take some gorgeous pictures of the animals...look for birds, butterflies, cats of course and some pigeons.

"Cathie" home with Rose and Thorn

Where we love is home,
Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.
~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., Homesick in Heaven

When our first kitten was born it was such a magical moment. We knew she was funny, quick and oh sooo small. When she got picked up by her new owner the house was a bit empty at first, but we knew she had a good home. I think she is spoiled...thank you Rose and Thorn for taking her and spoiling her like we would.

We are so glad you enjoyed our garden and danced...

The Rainy Day

The Rainy Day poem kind of reminded me of this place, but only the section where it rains...the rest of the sim is very pretty....

The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.

My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.

Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

This place is actually not all about rain...it is a beautiful calm place. I loved taking pictures here. I hope you do stop by either by yourself or with a friend. Bring an umbrella and a bathing suit...you'll be walking through water :)

Eventful Night

Today was kinda busy for us, because normally we just hang around our retreat and watch the kittens play or listen to some music and even watch the latest videos.
First we went to a live concert to see AM FORTE, a performer in SL. I think it was my first time to see her so I cannot really give an opinion about it, but I know Micheal enjoyed it.

We also had a very cute visit from little Remi, who now is the "Mommy" of Cathie our teacup kitten. We are so happy that she has a good home and is being spoiled already. Our other kitten now belongs to Remi's sister, which is so very cool, because we know that both cats will stay together and have the best home.

I think Charlotte also was pleased that her babies will be in good hands. Charlotte is expecting again right now, we think this will be the last kitten for us. LOL, Micheal is hoping for a cat that is purple and brown. I guess we just have to see.

Cats do care.  For example they know instinctively what time we have to be at work in the morning and they wake us up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off.  ~Michael Nelson

I know why I had such a migraine this evening. It was the place I visited earlier tonight called Ocho Tango. The mosquitoes got me for sure.

Teleport to Teleport

"We can't be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better."
— C. JoyBell C

Within seconds your teleport is complete and you can be in Australia and then in Venice and another teleport click and you are on the French Rivera.
Now if only RL would make it that easy to travel and relax for a few hours somewhere else the world would be much better off. Maybe one day this will be a reality. Sounds good to me.

It's a girl !!!

Today we announce to friends and In world wide that we have a little baby girl, in this case Charlotte the kitten. She has already grown in three days and wow she can eat.

Charlotte is also starting to talk and she told me: Take me shopping with you. LOL! Just like a girl would.
I will hopefully take her soon out to the store and we will see what we can find. I also talked to Micheal about getting Charlotte a bother soon so they both can grow up together. We still have to discuss this a bit more, but I think he will say yes :)

We have a Kitten :)

On February 16, 2013 our 11 months anniversary we adopted a kitten. Her name is Charlotte and she is a purple birthday kitten from KittyCatS...you can get one free too...

She is so tiny, I lost her the first day...but luckily she reappeared today again. I am so glad.

Do something silly !

"If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done. "

Today I felt being silly and I think that is OK to do. You have to spend time to laugh, sing and dance every day. This means in real life as well as here in the second life. Since everything we do here is so much connected to the real world, make sure you have fun and laugh. Stay away from Drama, it does not even belong here at all.

So much fun decorating for the Holidays

This will be our first Christmas together and now with the house and all, I can really decorate.
It is so much fun to look for the right stuff. Many things I have found on hunts and they have little or nothing.

Rolling in Dough

"Everything you can imagine is real."

— Pablo Picasso

Oh how sweet it is.

This night we went to some club and we won some Linden Dollars. Yes siree...I think it was 35L$, woohoo. I am rolling in dough now.

Realistic thinking the few Lindens were not much at all, but main thing is to have fun.

Kiss daily :)

Micheal comes and visits often now at my condo and one thing we do before we say good-bye is to kiss.
You should kiss daily...

SWEET :)

The Looking Glass

The Looking Glass is really a beautiful sim....it always amazes me how creative people really are. I also appreciate the time this all takes to create. Wow !

I am really glad that I invited Micheal to come and explore with me. This was fun to walk around.

I even got to use my Photography skills and took Micheal's Profile picture. :) Thanks Micheal....
