Sommergewitter

...being without you
is like rain on the beach
and no sun shining through...

If you are ready for some rain after this long summer, you may want to stop by "Sommergewitter".

There is much to see on this rainy place and many opportunities to take photographs. You can also get dry in one of the lovely beach cottages and hang out there.

La Botanique

I found a nice warm spot to stay dry while the rain is falling around the island.

La Botanique is a lovely hangout but bring a raincoat and wear rain boots if you want to explore outside.

H22O

H22O is semi-submerged, rainy and dark landscape open for exploration and photography. Never run in the rain with your socks on.

This is a very dark and wet place. Beware of evil spirits that may swim in the cold and murky waters.
Although he was nice, I wouldn't trust him.

Not sure if this was a real Angel or some dark spirit in disguise.

If it rains...let me be your umbrella!

“There are a hundred things she has tried to chase away the things she won't remember and that she can't even let herself think about because that's when the birds scream and the worms crawl and somewhere in her mind it's always raining a slow and endless drizzle.

You will hear that she has left the country, that there was a gift she wanted you to have, but it is lost before it reaches you.

Late one night the telephone will sign, and a voice that might be hers will say something that you cannot interpret before the connection crackles and is broken.

Several years later, from a taxi, you will see someone in a doorway who looks like her, but she will be gone by the time you persuade the driver to stop. You will never see her again. Whenever it rains you will think of her. ” ― Neil Gaiman

The Rainy Day

The Rainy Day poem kind of reminded me of this place, but only the section where it rains...the rest of the sim is very pretty....

The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.

My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.

Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

This place is actually not all about rain...it is a beautiful calm place. I loved taking pictures here. I hope you do stop by either by yourself or with a friend. Bring an umbrella and a bathing suit...you'll be walking through water :)
