Holiday Happenings :)

The holidays tend to be very busy but they also can be tons of fun. We hope to make your holiday season enjoyable here in Second Life. We have a few things planned for the month of December so get ready and have some holiday cheer.

1. The Retreat will hold its annual "Little Gift Hunt" starting December 1, 2015. Come and stop by and find 10 little gifts while you enjoy the beautiful winter scene.

2. The Retreat Gacha Store & More has a new location at the very end of the Retreat in its own building. We hope to bring you some of the best gachas plus some Home Goods created by us. Take a chance on the Lucky Letter Board and also look for a few freebies. The Store is located on the Melatonin Lake overlooking the beautiful Retreat right next to the Full Monty Nightclub.

3. The Galicia Norge Yul is a breathtaking location right on the Blake Sea. Come and skate the frozen pond, cuddle with your loved one, roast some marshmallows over the warm fire or get cozy in the cabin. Look for some free gifts (starts Dec. 1) too.

4.The Galicia Art & Cultural Hall is excited to present "Photography by Jack" a very talented artist in Second Life. Jack (actionjackson83) created some nice pieces for this exhibit. He is also a talented actor and director in Second Life. We are very lucky to have him be our featured artist this month.

Winter at the Retreat

It is this time again...winter, snow, ice-skating, holidays. Here at the Retreat it already has begun. Snow is falling and you feel the warmth of the holidays throughout.

We got an early start on our Christmas tree. We are so excited to spend our first Christmas together.

Stop by soon and check it out....warm up in the Chateau at the fireplace. We also have an ice-skating rink, just walk to through the Retreat, you will find it next to the Full Monty Club.

Winter Wonderland 2015

I wonder how much snow they had to use to get this giant snowman? Before Winter is over go head to this Winter Wonderland and try out the snowboarding or snowmobile. You can also have a snowball fight or ice skate. Don;t forget to pick up your free gifts in the village.

Let it snow is a beautiful Winter Sim. You want to go here with someone so you can dance and play in the snow. It is a very romantic place. You can also come here if you just want to get away from it all and enjoy the calm Winter as the snow falls.

Santa came early to the Retreat :)

Looks like Santa stopped by the Retreat and brought some goodies which then were rewarded by some warm kisses. Even Santa needs a hug and kiss once in awhile. All those cookies and milk cannot be good. He told me he prefers the kisses much more than the donuts I left on the fireplace for him.

Oh my, if you want to see the statue in real view, you will have to come and visit this place. I had to keep it a bit clean and covered a certain part some more.
